Haha I definitely do not count those as decommits.. We actively dropped both of those guys. Mattingly was "mutual"... James was "seriously, we will not be visiting you and you can't sign with ND.

Back to Yeargin. I personally wish him the best.

But someone or two rumored (loudly) that there were recruits we weren't going after and recruits we had where BobbyD's wishes were being honored, against most others. Is Yeargin one of the ones? How about Peter Mokwuah?

It was reported on 1/25 that he committed to Clemson. Was that report inaccurate and retracted?

Also, he doesn't have a commitable offer from Florida... sooooo.... nice hat on the table dude... wonder how much of this charade was Clemson's idea for good press.

i think it was obvious that he would commit there and i too read what you are stating however he stated he didn't commit to clemson....yet...looking back through twitter, someone posted he flipped to clemson but HE never stated he did...rivals even listed him as a commit

It was definitely reported somewhere on 1/25. I remember seeing it, and GB posted it here. He must have backed off of it... i.e. he committed to Clemson, it leaked out, and he said "nah, I haven't committed yet, because I want a moment on NSD."

Yeah, I think he's milking the Texas offer, as if he's really considering going there. "Oh, well I was going to Clemson, but when a school like Texas comes calling you have to consider it ..." etc etc bottom line is he wanted some manufactured NSD drama.
