Anything Gorney or GM says they just mine as well blow it out there ass.

For god sakes Farrell broke the Vanderdoes to ND before Gorney. Rivals needs to hire Greg Biggins.

GM is the real deal. He had Town visiting before anyone. If you're going to listen to anyone on USC recruiting, he'd be the one.

No new news on juju, other than he'll trim his list and USC fans shouldn't be worried at all.

Looks pretty comfortable in that USC jersey:

Dammit.

We'll take them any day all week. Juju would be smart to choose UCLA. BK is building something special in SB...just get him a QB.

Gerald Martinez is a douchebag and I wouldn't give an ounce of credibility to that moron. Between him and Weber, they are just a couple of blind ass homers. One believes the school/program has done nothing wrong is the victim of a conspiracy of a jealous NCAA and COI that was enraged by usc's success. And Martinez thinks they get any recruit they offer and when a recruit chooses a program over them, well, it just had to be the result of some kind of shenanigans

Oh man, I can totally see that on twitter. I don't do twitter, but I remember when the Manti thing came out he was all over it, coming up with bad joke after bad joke. But in real life he's actually not that bad. He used to rip BK too, saying he wasn't that good of a coach a few years ago, but I called him out on it, and he was reasonable about it and changed his tune )going to the natty will do that).

COMPLETELY agree on Weber. I could write a novel on what a homer/moron that guy is.

But we'll never agree on GM. He doesn't think they'll get everyone they offer; matter of fact he tells customers straight-out all the time that SC is not getting certain players. Of course he swings towards USC, and I agree that he makes excuses or says some guys aren't 'fits' (which is true many times), but most recruiting guys do...they work for fans of that school.

But I wouldn't call him a moron or misinformed. Dude has REALLY good sources and has been right way more often than he is wrong. He called a lot of those decommits they had last year before others did, and he personally had me sold when he said in November of Deontay's senior year that he would surprise everyone on NSD and decommit from ND and commit to somewhere no one could see coming. When we all thought Tee was solid, he was reporting that USC was still very much alive (turned out to be true). So for me, he's the guy to follow for USC recruiting.

Is Ricky Town flirting with USC?

Very much so. He and his family are there this weekend, and are thinking about going back next weekend as well when there are even more recruits in 'town' (nailed the pun lol).

Going to be hilarious if Saban's switch from Nuss to Kiffin means losing out on a #1 QB. And by hilarious I mean would suck for us.

It's kind of surprising how bad the current QB position at Bama is without McCarron. Zaire could be easily the starting QB there next year. Town has a dream opportunity to play early in 2015.

It doesn't take much to turn around and hand the ball to Derrick Henry. Dude is an animal. Hell I could be the QB at Bama.

I mean they win a lot and are probably loved, but Saban does not trust his qbs. When was the last time one of his qbs has been looked at as serious high nfl draft pick. McCarron is getting some love but not as much as expected.

Yeah but anyway his current QB's are Blake Sims, Alec Morris, Parker Mcleod and Cooper Bateman (the guy with most potential). That's terrible. Georgia for example have a great competition with a lot of talent to replace Murray.

Lets not kid ourselves. Bama has plenty of talent at the QB position, they are just unproven right now. I think Bama will be fine at the QB position because like some have already stated, Bama does not need a stellar QB, it needs a game-manager. If I told you a starting QB had 3 national championships under his belt, you would probably assume he had at least one Heisman trophy and would be a top5 draft pick. McCarron has neither of those things.

Will a game manger do in Kiffy Boy's offense though? Not so sure he was brought in just so they could continue to hand the ball off all the time.

I don't know but as someone has said before, I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when ND is mentioned before the other schools.

@TomLoy247: What I'm Hearing: #NotreDame and Long Beach (Calif.) Poly five-star safety John "JuJu" Smith The latest on John "JuJu" Smith and Notre Dame via @BGInews (VIP)

Denbrock's visit on Saturday went well. They talked about life and school and not much about football. The relationship with Denbrock is very good and it will be tough to turn him down if he doesn't choose ND.

He is visiting USC this weekend but Kelly, Denbrock, and maybe Elliot will have the last in-home.

Denbrock's visit on Saturday went great as usual, they have a great relationship and Juju will have a lot of trouble turning him down.

May help that we get the last shot in the sense that Sark's last face to face contact with Juju will likely be this weekend, whereas our staff has an in-home visit that will take place later.

Edit: beaten by Kane ....
