Going to be pretty impressive if the staff holds on to this guy and he signs with the Irish in Feb 2015!

If this recruitment was a hypothetical football game it feels like we lead 17-3 at the end of the 1st QTR. Nice lead but a lot of game left.

And yes in this hypothetical situation Golson is the starting QB.

I'm confused.

apparently were currently beating the tigers at halftime (june 22, 2014) 17-3 and we got to hold them off till the 4th quarter (February 2015)

OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

lets get through this cycle.

Not going to stress about 2015 recruits at all. We need to be worrying about finishing our 2014 class. It's recruiting and as always it's a long process so not too worried right now. My biggest concern is for us to land a DL or 2 for this class.

there is nothing from Shea Dixon about Tilery getting a visit from LSU coaches.

Usually those types of tweets mean nothing and people just like to hit the panic button.

I have a hard time believing that he is passionate via his "Go Tigers" hashtag. He didn't even spell it right. It's "Geaux Tigers."

Could be talking about Auburn. Or Missouri. Or the Detroit baseball team.

Only half kidding. LSU just hired a new OL coach from Virginia Tech. Maybe he got a phone call? Who really cares. I don't start worrying about decommitments until kickoff of the football season in their senior year. That's the point where it starts getting late in the game to fill a hole they might leave.

only thing that worries me would be missing out on some other elite OL since we're supposedly only taking 3 and getting burnt at the end by this guy going to LSU

Not worried about any of the guys we have, but if there is one to keep an eye on it's definitely Tillery. He's going to get so much pressure over the next 12 months to stay home.

0% chance Hoge decommits sans Hiestand leaving.
1% chance Barnett decommits sans Kelly leaving. Think it would take an all-time collapse on the field.

Agreed Tillery just because he's from an area in which we just don't have any recruiting success in. Plus Barnett is from Cali and I thought you guys don't wanna recruit Cali?

I am the least worried about OL recruting. If Jerry Tillery starts jerking Notre Dame around he will be gone and there will be plenty of OL recruits who want to be tutored by Harry H.

I doubt Hiestand leaves. He's like BVG, where he's already had a taste of the pro-life, and knows he won't escalate to a higher position and isn't destined to. As long as the line stays solid and Kelly stays, Hiestand is here to stay.

He did visit LSU this weekend and seemed to have a good time. Nothing earth shattering

I agree, plus while the rigors of coaching D1 football are time consuming, they aren't as demanding as the pros. Harry seems to have found his niche.

Sonny Shipp from LSU's 247 site said that there is a lot of work to do in order for them to make this happen. Basically if Tillery were to flip he thinks Stanford would be ahead of LSU at this point. Now he did say that they have a coach dedicated to Tillery and will be working extremely hard to make it happen but he doesn't put much into right now.

We won't let him get away.
