In Todd McShays mock draft 1.0 he has Martin going 31 overall to Denver.

The more tape I watch of Martin, the more I like him. He is consistent, shows up to play all the time and is versatile (he's capable of moving inside to guard, but also athletic enough to stay out at tackle).

He has Nix going 12 to Pittsburgh and Tuitt 16 to Dallas.

Absolutely agree. This right here.

Through all the off-the-field antics and on-the-field inconsistencies, this guy was an absolute rock. He returned when he could have left. With all the Tommy bashing, there was one particular unit on the team that shouldered the weight and protected Tommy when others wouldn't, and in a nationally prominent way (ND 3rd or 4th in sacks allowed?). Martin was the clear leader of that unit.

Agree..............One of the best ever to play the O line for the Irish.

I asked this earlier, do you think he played himself into the first round?

I really do. Mid second round at worst.

This draft class is very thick. Last year a late first for sure. Senior bowl week is huge for these guys. His interview alone will do wonders. He will start day one and play for a decade. To me that is very worthy. Whomever gets him will be well rewarded!

Espn has him at #29 overall on their draft board, so it's possible he's a first rounder.

If he was 6'6+ 320 and runs a 5.0 there's no doubt he'd be a Top 10 pick.

However, like I said before the season, I compared him Justin Pugh, who went 19th overall to the Giants last year.

I view him as a Top 35 pick.

IMO, any team 20th and later who doesn't draft him is an idiot. Guy is durable, consistent, and versatile. Barring bad luck he should play for 10 years in the NFL.

I hope he's around when the Colts draft. They need help on the o-line.

what Zach's got going for him is he will imo be the most versatile OL in the draft. he has the capability of playing all 5 line spots and he's going to have 4 plus years of playing experience playing under a seasoned NFL vet as a coach. would think coach hiestand's recommendation will serve very well for him in the coming months. hope he kills it at the combine and his pro day and works his way into the first round. whatever team gets him will be better.

Hiestand has only been our OL coach since 2012.

Just saw some of his highlights on espn. He's a technician, and makes it look easy.
