Assuming everyone signs this year and we recruit 2015 as well as it's looking we should have an absolutely baller OL in 2017

Think the staff just wanted to see him play with all the weight he put on over the spring/summer before offering.

I was thinking that he might have committed early if we offered him this spring.

I'd take the other side of that. I would say that was highly unlikely even if we offered. He is an Alabama legacy and I don't think he would have committed without going through the process more.

probably worse times to do this...gives him time to recover and be ready for his sr year

Either way, fairly straightforward recovery. Time consuming and painful, but he should be okay as long as there aren't any set backs during rehab.

sorry for the bump

nothing real other than the fact I'd really like if he was our last OL spot for 2015...love his athleticism, especially since we're looking to take an edge OL with our last spot.

Recent strong run of Clemson Crystal Balls. He's visited them twice recently. Bama, UF and Clemson are his favorites

dude's film is excellent....looks extremely comfortable protecting on the edge and perimeter blocking in the run game.

Coach hiestand would make this guy an all american if he stays healthy

May decide by the end of the month, Clemson is the favorite. One little mention of ND around 3:30ish being his favorite childhood team but top 4 are Clemson, UF, Bama and Michigan

Really have no idea why our staff was lukewarm about him... but I don't question their OL recruiting.

I'm pretty sure he's not visiting. He's all Clemson or Bama.

I find this visit very surprising. Has Notre Dame shown that much interest? Florida(close to home), Alabama(his father's school), Clemson(suburban, tree lined campus), and now a second visit(2013 summer camp), just before a decision, to Notre Dame. Notre Dame has recruited the offensive line as well as any school in the country. With two quality verbals for 2015, there is not much elbow room on the roster for offensive linemen. And yet, Fruhmorgen is back for another look during spirng practice.
