I just want to know who's mom I saw at the SC player walk with a little sister, who was really bitching about the October "cold." Not a nice person, anyone got a picture of the top recruits mama's so I can rule them out?
ND has a much better medical school placement. Especially for Cali kids, it gives you a leg up with some midwestern schools to use as safeties if you get locked out of Cali.
I know I always assume someone isn't a nice person when they say it's cold outside.
There was also something about the look on her face being a snarl worse that her avatar, and a tone in her voice, like : "Why would you ask whether someone is having a good time because I am cold, because it is below 55 degrees outside. Fool!"
I guess it didn't have much to do with the content. More than someone wishing you well and screaming at them that things were so imperfect.
Better yet. Next time someone asks you with concern, "How are you doing?" Reply, "Fuck you!"
If that's her and she thought 55 degrees was cold, then the only chance we have is that very small flicker of a flame that seems to go out, come back, go out, come back, but never gets any bigger.
Personally, I think the commitment of Sykes (and possibly Morgan later) freed-up Tranquil to stay at safety-- probably the best position for his body.
I would love to have Smith, but Tranquil is fast, strong, played-both ways with tremendous success, and clearly LOVES football. I am totally fine with the safety position.
ND has had good luck with almost oversized safeties who were often listed as OLBs:
Zibby, Hayseed, Motta, Baratti...
Yeah, all these other guys are just here for the free spandex and stocking caps.
So you go to ND and then SC.... SC is a huge undergrad, going there doesn't get you a spot at the med school. Also it comes after Stanford, UCSF, UCLA, Irvine, and maybe Davis in the Cali pecking order.
Good interview with Loy from Juju. Loves Denbrock and everything ND stands for. Admits that he does have renewed interest in USC now that they hired Sark and at the end says that his parents would fully support him if he does choose ND, but they would likely be shocked if he did as they are both big SC fans.
Send his parent a couple of thousand letters. Tell them we're recruiting them as fans.

Basically hasn't eliminated anyone (OSU, Bama, Oregon) even though ND and SC are considered clear front-runners. Luatua has been in his ear on the daily about coming to ND, but he's not going to let that affect his decision, nor will he allow anyone else to affect his decision to attend anywhere else. Likely deciding late January/early February - is going to break it down to three or four schools. SC was definitely out when Kiffy boy was there, but they're back in it with Sark.
I'm not surprised by this, but I do find it strange. Sark basically is Kiffy Boy. They are the same guy.
Just because they both coached on Carrol's staff does not automatically mean that they are the same. I don't recall seeing or reading anything while Sark was at Washington that indicated any real similarities between the two; and Sark seemed like a reasonably good recruiter so it would not surprise me it this kid ends up at USC especially based on how the offense looked yesterday.
That offense was scary good yesterday. Granted Fresno State isn't a real defensive powerhouse but USC has some horses and knows how to use them now that Kiffy is gone. I hope ND can finally get really good offensive production next season.
I wouldn't go that far. Did you watch them play UCLA?

You could tell yesterday that the talent level on field was a huge difference. Fresno state had no chance yesterday.
