I'm not sure what's not to like. Those are good bowls against good conferences. It's unlikely that Notre Dame will ever play in anything below the Pinstripe Bowl, so it's a game against a solid team from the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, or Pac-12 most likely. I'm 10000% on board with this.
Playing a 6-6 team? I don't get it. Notre Dame should've pressed for something more interesting than this. Why bother if that's all N.D. could get?
