i knew and have been saying all along there was no way Haden was going to let "Coach O" run that program much less remain there.

Haden wants a clean slate.

i think Sark can and will do well out there just my opinion.

Sark hasn't been that great at UW, I'm surprised he is their choice. I feel like it's a lateral move from Kiffin to Sark. A lot of the USC players and fans will be pissed that Orgeron is leaving too. It could be our time to swoop in our their defensive recruits. What changes the ballgame is if Tosh comes to USC as well and they go back to their days of stockpiling 5-stars.

It's a good move for him. Another fairly low-pressure job. I don't think he'll do well playing real opponents regularly, but if he does, he becomes a proven hot commodity.

SC hires Pete Carol back.
SC hires Nick Saban.
SC hires any of the NFL championship coaches rumored at one time or another.
SC hires any coach with a track record of success as a head coach (Hoke rule.)
SC hires Kevin Sumlin, which means the are willing to go back to the way things were under Carol, regardless of what Hayden said.

The list goes on . . .

Agreed. I like this move for Peterson if it happens. Mora is building a potential power house in LA, he'd be silly to leave that

I am REALLY intrigued to see how A&M does without Manziel. Sumlin's Houston teams were as overrated as NIU is now, and Manziel's heroics are what's keeping A&M afloat - their defense has been terrible.

That's my take on it. SC recruiting will be strong but I'm not pissing myself over a guy like Sark with his record at UW in the Pac12, which has been relatively weak in the past 4 years. Hell, it'd be scary if they brought in a real HC, had Sark as the OC and Coach O as the DC.

Not that USC needs help recruiting they hired a good recruiting coach. I think this hire could really do good things for that university.
