Not to mention, Hendrix has had almost zero chance to develop- basically zero reps in his career. His frosh year they all went to Crist (new starter) and then Tommy (backup, and then emergency starter). 2011, he got only a few, in limited packages, behind Dayne and Tommy, and last year everything went to Everett and Tommy for obvious reasons. This year I'm sure he's had a few more, but only as the backup, and few or none with the ones. Had any of those situations (injuries, etc) shaken out differently, there might've been an opportunity for him to get more reps, and who knows what kind of player he'd be. Being compared to Hendrix coming out says nothing but sky-high potential, IMO.
Yeah, and my comment was in that way, sky-high potential, but like i said, potential needs to be worked very hard because he is not the type of QB who born with a natural passing game like Clausen, Barkley and look like Rosen in 2015. But if that potential develops, he can be better than all of them.
