Josh Freeman or Geno Smith? Flex player can be a QB. Or I could throw Bilal Powell in there.

I'm the last person someone should listen to, but Freeman has my curiosity. He could set the world on fire in Minnesota or flop flat on his face. Huge gamble, but I'd probably take it.

Will be down 20-25 (depending on T.Richardson) going into tomorrow's game. Need to start 2/3 of Hakeem Nicks, Reuben Randle, and Greg Jennings. Thoughts? Could also pick up a guy like Peyton Hillis if Jacobs doesn't start.

I'd go Hakeem Nicks and Reuben Randle. Randle has played very well the last two weeks, the Vikings secondary is poor, and I am pretty sure Greg Jennings is the Vikings third option in terms of targets. Eli Manning is also a much better QB than whoever the Vikings start this week.

Thanks--I think Nicks is due for a 15-20 point game. Richardson's fumble just now helps a bunch.

I agree---but I hope not. I am winning in fantasy now by 7. My opponent only has Nicks. I still have Decker. Here is to hoping Colts get a quick TD so the Broncos still need to pass.

Darren Mcfadden or Zac Stacy? Mcdeezy could blow up but you just never know. Although Stacy going against Seahawks.

I'd go Mcfadden. Seattle D can load up the box against Stacy.

I need 2 out of 3: Reuben Randle, SJax, and Harry Douglas

Harry Douglas for sure. I don't know if SJax will end up getting the bulk or if he'll split with Rodgers who is a great pass catcher.

I can't imagine starting Dalton over Kap. It is obviously possible that Dalton outscores Kap today, but Kap has the potential to go off for 40 points. I don't think Dalton does.

Before last game Dalton had like 4 consecutive 300+ and 3 TD games. Kap is playing arguably the best D in the NFL. And thats why I just can't figure it out. In this league I'm one game out of a playoff spot, but its a log jam in the middle of the standings. I'm to the point potential may be more important than playing it safe. Kap is who I'm leaning towards.

Yeah, but the CAR defense is not as good as it appears. Look at the QBs they've played. Dalton is a nice little player but doesn't have the upside that Kap has. It really depends on your lineup and matchup. If you're favored and just can't afford a goose egg, Dalton may be the safer play. If you could need a huge day from your QB to win, the risk/reward with Kap is probably worth it.

I need some serious advice right now. Sorry for the long post. Need to make a decision ASAP before these deals get pulled. I have two offers on the table

Here's my situation. I'll be 4-6 having lost 4 in a row but still 7th in my league (top 6 make payoffs). I've lost Julio Jones and Arian Foster for the season. Here's my roster right now

QB--Brees, Wilson, Foles (just picked him up)
WR (start 2)--Nicks, Torrey Smith, Harry Douglas, Percy Harvin
RB (start 2)--Steven Jackson, Mike James, Mcfadden
TE--Gates
Flex WR/RB/TE

Brees' schedule is brutal the rest of the season so I came up with the brilliant idea of picking up Foles and trading Brees to improve the rest of my team. However, Wilson and Foles both have a bye week 12. I have another deal ready for Eli Manning to play him that week against the Cowboys. Here are the two offers I have on the table:

Deal A:
Brees
Torrey Smith

for

Dez Bryant
Fred Jackson
Deangelo Williams

Deal B:
Brees
Harry Douglas
Gates

for

Andrew Luck
Reggie Bush
Julius Thomas

I don't think I would start Luck most weeks but I don't want to risk a counteroffer on either trade because they are both juicy. What do you guys think?

I don't like either deal because your giving up Brees. But deal B is far better than deal A. Dez is bipolar as far as scoring and the others are bottom of the barrel flex players in deal A. With deal B Bush and Thomas are legit.

I know trading Brees is crazy talk but he hasn't been able to carry me by himself. I have to make a move. Deal B is also my preference. Plus I just realized Dez has a bye next week so that pretty much does it for me.

Trading Brees does seem crazy, but the rest of your roster is really in need of some help - especially if James is really hurt after just going down in MNF. With deal B you get a lot of it. I'd see if I could get any playable WR instead of Luck. You really don't need him with Wilson and Foles. Or take Douglas and Luck both out of the deal maybe.

roster

qb: luck, vick
wr: desean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, james jones, marvin jones, danny amendola, and riley cooper
rb: matt forte, frank gore, danny woodhead, and mike james

I was offered a deal:

I get
jordy nelson
ryan Matthews
fred davis

He gets
frank gore
danny woodhead
james jones

It seems pretty even of a trade, but not sure if I want to give up gore for nelson.
What do you all think?

It's pretty close. For me it would depend on whether you are doing well or not. If you are in the top 4 of your league I probably wouldn't mess with the roster unless it would clearly help. Side note: check if Foles is available in your league. Vick might not start again this year.

Edit: Mike James is probably out for the season so I definitely wouldn't do this trade. You would be left with very little depth at RB

Nelson is a huge question mark. They are on their 3rd string QB at the moment with it being reported they may sign Matt Flynn. And I own Mathews in a league. He gets like 50 yards a game and its a coin flip at best if he'll score. Idk much about Davis. Nelson is about the same as James Jones and Mathews with Woodhead (actually Woodhead gets more targets and is usually the goalline and 3rd down guy). So it would boil down to Davis for Gore. And you'd be giving up more than you'd be getting. The only time you want to do that is if what you are getting fills a position of dire need. I'd pass

QB question. I have Dalton and Kap and they are both inconsistent. I'm dropping Pryor as he's not playing this week. McCown and Keenum are the best available in the league. Who would you pick. TD heavy scoring league. Keenum plays OAK this week and McCown may be replaced with Cutler when he gets healthier. At this point I'm leaning Keenum. Thoughts?
