4-4 Utah beat Stanford by a TD, but we have no chance. Got it.

I never said we dont have a chance. Just that im not looking forward to it. Anything can happen but if i was betting id say we lose by 10+, we'll just have to wait and see

Alabama would make Oregon look bad, too. The best championship game would be FSU Alabama, no doubt in my mind.

FSU would give us a lot of trouble. Oregon would get stomped, but the Seminoles could definitely hold their own with us.

To be fair, literally every single team except Washington State played Stanford way tougher than this.

I'm talking Army, Utah, Oregon State, San Jose State, etc. This result is crazy. It says way more to how physically/mentally soft Oregon is on both sides of the ball than anything else. If you can at least quasi defend the run, then Hogan has to win it with his arm and he makes mistakes.

But Oregon can't stop the run AT ALL. And we all knew Stanford had one of the best defenses in the country and this just reinforces what the stats say. They're incredibly disruptive and you cannot make mistakes like Oregon when in position to score.

Biggest mistake of the night....Helfrich passing up the 3 early. Terrible decision.

This game reminds me of the Miami-ND game last year where we just ran the ball down the throats of a weak, soft group of individuals that were completely mentally unprepared for the moment.

I would always laugh at the Oregon fans talking smack last year about how they should have been in the championship game instead of us. They would have been stomped as badly as us last year, stomped a little less badly this year. They admit themselves that what they run on offense is simple. Saban would analyze the $hit out of them and shut them down. If Stanford can do it, Bama sure as hell can. The Stanford - ND game is going to be ugly though. Gaffney is going to kill us running anywhere but up the middle.

Their offense isn't that complicated. They just run it to perfection (usually) and have speedy playmakers. That won't work when Saban has a month to analyze film.
