I looked for it and failed, but does anyone have the Digger Phelps speech where he screams 'tonight we will beat Southern Cal'?

I don't want to spam the site, but does anyone know of people looking for tickets? Had two sold to a guy but was told tonight he couldn't make it. Shoot me a PM if interested, thanks.

Not to spam either but I'm in South Bend with two extra tix burning a hole in my pocket. I'll be on or around campus most of the day. PM me if interested, I'll check back here in the AM.

Saint Lou. There'll never be another.
My Lou Holtz autographed ND helmet is amongst my most prized possessions.

And save Jimmy Johnson's @ss for me!

Digger's impassioned plea was from the "green out game" of 78, I do believe. It is one of those moments from earlier this season, I think.

Took some advice from a friend on the site.

The ex took the kids after all.

Decided to go, as the getting was real good!

So we will be sitting in Section 28, which I do believe puts us right over on the press box side.

The keys to victory is pretty simple to me.

The USC defense is stout against the run. If the Trojans force ND into third and long situations it means Rees has to have a big game. The Trojan secondary is their weakness so Rees should be able to make some passes. His ability to move the chains will be vital if the Irish are gonna have the success they need to win.

The Irish should do the exact same thing to USC. There is no reason to believe the Irish can't stop the Trojan run game as ND holds a huge advantage up front. This should force Kessler into having to throw the ball a lot. The best case for the Irish would be to get so much pressure on him that the Trojans have to keep a back in to block. If the back is allowed to slip out of the backfield, the Trojans have the advantage as the Irish LBs will have a hard time keeping up with those backs.

Still, I think the Irish, playing at home and coming off the bye week, wins the game by double digits. Kessler would have to play a flawless game and the Trojans would have to win the trench battle and I don't see that happening. Bottom line... Irish 28 USC 17.

All I want to see is ND come out of the gates swinging. I don't care about an emotional display, just good kick your *** football. That is it. If ND hits and executes out of the gate, things look great. If ND hits and executes out of the gate, and keeps it up, SC will look like drunken sailors by the fourth quarter.

I am headed up, right now. See you!

I'm going to the game as well. It's supposed to rain in the evening. So, it looks like we'll be standing/sitting in the rain in 40 degrees temperatures.

Ya gotta a be tough to be an ND fan.

Having lived in LA, I know the Trojans are going to be freezing their a$$ off in the cold rain.

As usual, very pumped up for this game and once again everything is lined up to be a huge recruiting haul if we can get the job done. It's gotta happen one of these years right?

He get's me emotional like none other.
His stories can have me from teary eyed to smashing walls in matter of seconds.
