Please, find something to do. I'm really not that interesting.

I can attest to that.

I'm right there with you, brotha!

Can I get an "Amen?"

Where have all the flowers gone?

Long time passing.

On the contrary, you rarely (ever?) talk football but I find your tangents hilarious.

About the part you quoted, I didn't know that was still up. In my post I said I'd delete the text after the guy had a chance to read it. I did that, but from my phone and didn't realize it wasn't all deleted. Now it is.

Dshans, we're all not sure what to make of the ND/OK game. Break the silence and give us your breakdown in the gameday thread!

That's asking a lot, mi amigo. I mean, I mean, I mean ... watch the game, drink AND comment on something I know little about save the numbers I see on the scoreboard??? I'm good, but not THAT good!

I think that I did make one comment in a game day thread. It was "a thing of beauty" in regard to a Dayne Crist strike thrown in stride to a receiver (which one I forget) streaking across the middle of the field about 30 yards deep. When it comes to the nuts and bolts or finer points of play I know enough (to the understandable joy of many) to keep my mouth shut.

Shalom!

There are a few responses to his initial tweet that aren't shown. His second tweet was in response to someone else asking how college was.

I think his tweet says it all. I didn't see anything in there to raise a concern about his commitment to ND. It also tells me that he's heard the rumors and wants to sooth our tortured souls. He knows where he was lacking and has been working hard in that area.

Y'all are way off topic. Can we please get back to speculating on GB's imminent transfer. Maybe he defects and heads to Oklahoma on their trip back.

I be he shows up in OU gear and Stoops puts him in for the opening carry behind a fullback just to troll us all.

If one poster had made a mental adjustment this thread would be about 500 posts shorter.

Nothing that we haven't heard already, but a nice summary of Kelly's comments regarding GB.

Kelly: Bryant not buried in Notre Dame backfield | CSN Chicago

"We just got to four. I'd like to get to five," Kelly said Tuesday. "Greg certainly has a skill set that we just haven't gotten into the game yet."

"It's about scripting five and trying to get five (backs) into the game more than anything else," Kelly offered. "We have him scripted into certain plays, it's just really the flow of the game and the circumstances in trying to get him in."

I bet he doesn't get more than 3

reason i think this is that BK leaving him out last game he will get a touch or 2...he will make the most of it and get a couple more....at least that's what im telling myself

We can't change ANYTHING that happens with the program, yet this board exists. Hmmm, go figure...

I'm thinking he'll get a chance to make a showing here. At home against a school he was "this close" to attending. We'll hear his name this Saturday, no doubt about it.

This thread is turning into a train wreck, and the young man has only been on the team for four games haha.

I've contributed my fair share to said wreck. I apologize to anyone that saw my post of his tweet last night and took it for anything other than "I'm pumped that Greg seems pumped."

EDIT: And now it appears I've lost my damn mind. I swear I was just looking at a discussion about Greg's 40/75 TD season.

This thread has become hilarious.

I would like to post a "co-look at the game" with my co-conspirator, Sir D.

Sir D and I have talked, ND will roll if three things happen:

The coaching staff learns how to call running plays, with formation to spots on the field where ND has an even or better hat on hat ratio. Play action away from the double tight end will rock! That may be the sixty yarder mentioned above.

If the defense continues to develop to the four rushing gets pressure, leaving ND with two safeties over the top and tight cover on for, then we bad. Other than the center, (who is pretty small) we should have a better set of match ups than we have against since Temple. Yes it is close but the Purdue O-line played tougher than the OU line might.

If ND fans finally get their heads out of their asses and make the environment a hostile place for the OU team. We should not be as worried about being smarter than the next guy, at game time we should just be about kicking their asses!
