So Golson next year could be the Rees of last year.
Yes, that's a good way to put. Anything is possible, especially if Malik earns the lead. If he does, he will certainly have bumps along the way. Who better to help back him up then a quarterback with Golson's skill set? If that scenario plays out, we will be in tremendous shape at the QB position.
I support the team and who is on the team I dont make it personal only I want the best kids to play and help this team win a national championship. Thats it and thats all. Do you agree?
Lastly, dont be so sure that fans will welcome him back with open arms especially if this team is doing well without him. JS
Respectfully, I believe many will welcome Everett back, including Malik. If anyone wants to cast a stone, let them cast it, but part of growing up is learning how to earn trust and forgive when that trust has been broken, and there are few better models for learning both lessons than that of a team. As a former ND grad, the aspect I continue to respect most about my University is its willingness to embrace the spirit of family. This is a family, sir. Malik might very well be our starter next year, but make no mistake, many will encourage an Everett return, whether as lead QB or on the sidelines.
