I keep fantasizing about him rolling left, reversing field, and just as he spins around, getting absolutely destroyed by CJ Moseley coming at him full speed from the other direction... decleated, bent double, and slobber flying from his mouth as CJ buries a shoulder about 8" into Manziel's gut. :)

That's almost exactly what I was thinking. Maybe his helmet could fly off Clowney style. Also I want it to come when it's like 28-3 Bama and JF has two ints. I don't want him to go down early I want him to suffer.

I hear what you're saying, but it's the 2013 season, not 2012. Alabama could go 1-11 this year and no one would say, "Wow, ND lost to a really bad team in the NCG last year". To your point, and this opinion probably isn't shared by many ND fans, I'd like to see Michigan have success this year simply because they beat us last week. I will feel a lot better about that loss if Michigan goes on to have a great year vs. 7-5 and barely bowl eligible.

So, normally I agree with that logic, but it doesn't apply in this scenario, IMO.

I see your side of it and you're right about this being 2013, not 2012. I totally agree with you about Michigan this year. UM having a great season does nothing but help you guys. BTW, I watched the game and it was a heartbreaker. I genuinely felt bad for you. Atkinson dropped one pass after another and the PI call near the end was just a bad call. I hope you guys have a good year and get back to a BCS bowl.

LOL! I liked JM last year, even after A&M beat us, but this off-season changed my mind entirely. Total self-centered punk. Let's hope we get our wish Saturday. I don't want him to get injured - just beat up, frustrated, driven to having a meltdown, and left in tears on the sideline by the end of the game.

It's a wife year for us so my wife got to pick our travel game and this one is it. I'll be on the Aggie side about the 40. a few rows back. The good news is that I won't miss the Purdue game. The bad news is that my wife won't let me pocket the serious gain we could have profited on these tickets.

Anyways, I agree with the article below and hope #2 scores a td with a cigarette in his mouth and takes a twenty from a topless fan (ideally AJ's model gf) and stuffs it in his pocket. I love it.

My thoughts....

First, I hate when a game is called "the game of the century."

Secondly, I hate when people say "you can't give Saban two weeks to prepare... you can't beat him."

Thirdly, I can't stand when I hear "Saban doesn't lose to the same team back to back."

Finally, I hope my Tide buries the Aggies in that Texas dust. And I hope JF has an epic meltdown.

Odds on him flipping the Aggie fans off when he walks off the field Saturday?

Roll Tide.
This game does remind me of the Syrian Civil War though, who is the greater evil?

No way that A&M defense can equal the Tide defense in this one.

Rooting for Bama to lose 6-4. A&M six comes from a pick six. JMFF imprint in both endzones.

Unfortunately, looks like the A&M defense is a joke and Bama offense will look all world even though they are a shadow of last year's unit. I think Satan, I mean, Saban defensively embarrasses JMFF. Then again, JMFF obviously sold his soul at some point so Saban may be required per contract to allow him to win.

"equal defense" --- so giving up 24 points is SEC defense at its greatest? 41 points given up by A&M yet you imply there is debate as to if they are up to SEC standards defensively?

A&M has ZERO defense. My alma mater, Sam Houston, put up 30pts on them. However, Bama's Oline isn't worth a damn either...so I see some points being put up in this one.

Bama- 38
A&M- 31

Winning is what matters in this one. Holding JF and A&M to 24 points is outstanding no matter who you are or how good you think you may be. Our defense is as good or maybe better than last season and we only gave them 9 points after the first quarter last year. Playing at home should help the Aggies somewhat but in the end the team with the best defense wins.... and that is Bama.

As far as A&M's defense... I have posted several times on here that I believe it is the reason they go 9-3 this season... not because JF is distracted, etc. Their defense has stunk the first two games and I don't see it any better against Bama.

I'm rooting for Bama.

I would like for them to punish Manziel so ferociously that he finally melts down during the game in an epic fashion. I'm talking penalites, temper tantrums, visible altercations with teammats. I want to whole JFF Meltdown Experience.

I think you sell your defense short. I think 14 is the upside for A&M's offense given they have been the entire offseason focus for Bama. Only hope for Aggies defense is that Bama lost two first round OL that makes the offense worse than last year.

Whenever a SEC team loses, we all win. But here's the problem, after this game, the toughest game both of these teams face by a big margin, is LSU. So no matter who wins this weekend, we all need to become big LSU fans so that the winner of the A&M-'Bama game loses to them. Of course, LSU needs to have at least one loss in the mix as well. Oh man, I'm getting dizzy just thinking about all this SOS stuff. I need to lie down.

A one loss SEC team with the 33rd ranked schedule will always get in over a 1 loss Pac 12 team with the 12th best sechedule... just for an example...

each of those teams nees to lose twice... OR in the SEC title game. That's the only thing that keeps them out.

btw, in terms of the poll... I went rat's ***... in one corner you have a player that epitomizes everything that is wrong with the college athlete and a dirty program in my opinion… in the other corner you have a coach and that epitomizes everything that is wrong with college football in general and a dirty program in my opinion… rats. ***.

(the fact I'm not pulling for A&M should speak volumes as all of Alabama could go to hell in a hand basket tomorrow and I'd drink a beer to it)

Unfortunately most of the media hacks out there would start touting how difficult it is to play/win in the SEC with all these juggernauts in it. If there were multiple two loss teams from the SEC and no undefeated teams, I still see the SEC getting a team in the NCG. It's disgusting ....
