She sounds like a lucky woman-- random high school football games on a Friday night.

:naughty:

She's great, but I have to explain that a Notre Dame recruit is playing for Speedway. Otherwise I don't think she'd bite.

I don't have official stats, but ball parking: 1 INT, fumble recovery on kick return that he took to the house, 2 rushing TD (I think...may have been 1....struggling to remember), 200+ APY...we did hear one guy say 74 yds on 7 carries in the first half.

Overall, he clearly had a helluva game. Definitely an offensive player. Didn't seem to like to mix it up when he was on D (although he laid one kid out with a perfect tackle on one play). Most times, he didn't have the need to kick it in gear. Beach Grove isn't your typical powerhouse. But one time, he flat out flew to the end zone on a 50+ scamper.

Other notes: he's a physically built kid and isn't afraid to
block downfield when he had the chance. He reminded me of Onwalua.

Side note: Tandon Doss was in attendance. That kid is athletic as hell. Played bball with him a couple of winters ago.

My son called so we ended up at the Franklin Central - Bloomington South game instead. Hell of a game. I caught him on the sports highlights. They showed him flying down the sideline for a TD. He was playing an inferior opponent and he dominated just like he should have.

They are ranked number 1 in 2A. Although were smacked around pretty good last week against 3A number 1 Brebeuf.

not imo. he doesn't look like a natural rb at all too me. just the best athlete on the field with more speed than anyone else.

He's more natural than our starting RB! Lol. I respectfully disagree. There's a couple times where he COULD try to just out run the defenders to the sidelines, which is a high risk, high reward play (AKA, he could get just a couple yards if the defenders are faster than he thinks, or he could out run them and maybe take it all of the way). But he instead cuts inside and gains ~ 10 yards, knowing he'll take some contact.

The 32 second mark and the 48 second mark look like a great RB to me.

Anyways, I'm not suggesting he doesn't play WR for us, just saying he could be a flex guy if something unexpected happens.

i just think if you go back and watch folston/bryant film you wouldn't think about taking future carries away from them.

I see a lot of false steps in his footwork off the snap, expected for first time full rb duty.

In no way would i disagree with us giving him the ball out of the backfield on a jet or something but he most def. belongs outside.

When I watched him play last Friday, his best plays were when he was in space. He has WR written all over him with the capability of taking a few flex plays here and there, like NDdomer said.

On defense, he didnt' strike me as being the aggressor. With the exception of one play, he didn't seem to want to mix it up very often.
