Saw Theo while tailgating today. I'm sure that was icing on the cake for him as to what seemed like a great day.

He's listed as the 4th/other.

Here is a comment taken from Twentyman, a Lions writer, in his 53 man breakdown:

The top three were never really a doubt. Riddick has been impressive through training camp and the preseason and coaches love the versatility he gives them as a very good receiver. He could also be in the mix to return kicks. Owens, who is a core special-teamer, could headed to the short-term injured reserve list later this week.

Sounds about right. Honestly I'd prefer trade Leshoure for a WR if possible. He still holds a bit of value and I don't think he gives full effort. Us getting Bush and Bell playing very well when he gets his opportunities is gonna bury him and he has 2-back tallent.

The Lions are suppose to deploy him with an actual role sooner than later. His role will not be described as a fill in for Bush or Bell if they go down, but rather some plays for him and a split of some of the work load. Thats what they say, lets hope we get to see it.
