Bring on the hate, but he's officially the first college football player I've wanted to get injured. It'd be a blessing for his dumbass.

I'd bring on the hate but wishing someone to get injured does as much good as wishing them to stay healthy.

Sometimes I think Tate Forcier went back to high school, bulked up, and changed his name to Johnny Manziel.

Johnny Killz called this like 10 months ago. Can't find the thread, but something like "Johnny Manziel = Tate Forcier."

I bet the Heisman trust is praying for a Reggie Bush scenario so they can get this guy off the roster.

And today, Johnny Me got hit with an unsportsmanlike for taunting. With everything that has happened if he had a shred of common sense wouldn't have done that. Those who are in his corner should be embarrassed.

He looked like a total jackass today.

Every single play he was rubbing his fingers together like he was counting money. This kid is a flat out punk.

Yo, Trailer Town Tommy, would you please tell the Tide to crush this insect?

My hindsight guess is his dumb a$$ said something like "don't write a check you a$$ can't cash," and made the autograph gesture. Apparently the money gesture he was making is something he did last year too, but that kid obviously doesn't have a filter, or really give a crap what anyone thinks. He's a mental midget of the highest degree.

He did do the autograph gesture while **** talking and thats what got him the penalty. I believe he got benched for the rest of the game after that.

As far as the money gesture, I saw Boyd do it in the night game and several players do it in other games. That must just be something new.

I still don't understand why he just doesn't get it. He literally has (or had) a good road paved in life. He comes from a family that is financially secure, he is having a great college career, and he is sure to get drafted. He's blessed with all that, but he's a douche. So many people in this world would give a limb to be in his position, and his lack of appreciation in life is disgusting.

Why? Because he is Johnny Manziel and you are not.

Lol, I have no desire to be him. Until yesterday, I had no issue with him. Until the autograph issue I actually felt bad for him in regards to all the media attention about every second of his life. I felt he was just a college kid doing as he pleased. But taking the recent issues onto the field and using it as a taunt to the opposing team is disgraceful. Its disrespectful to the opposing team, his coach, his team, and the University.

This is all true, though I disliked him beginning in the off season, when he started to reveal himself (to me, at least) as a selfish, thoughtless jackass. They used to hang a sign at my kid's Little League field; it said simply: "RESPECT THE GAME." Along with the things you said, he also refuses to respect the game, which includes respecting the fans, the competition itself, and the sport and its history. Unless he grows up, he'll come to a bad end.

Manziel is just Denard Robinson 2.0 to me. Every media person wants to hop on the bandwagon.

But a side note something that made me laugh while watching the game. One of the announcers said they were surprised how well Rice could move the ball on an "SEC Defense".
I got a chuckle out of that because just 2 years ago they were in the BIG 12 where it was said no team played defense.

So I guess once you join the SEC you automatically gain the "Roster full of NFL talent" and "Better than every other conference team" labels.

Denard was one of kind and a great kid to boot. Manziel is no Denard.

I assure you the Heisman Trust does not care about Manziel's circus. They're only interested in protecting the trademarks and maximizing their profits so they can do more of their self-serving charity work. Of the nine trustees, there's only one that really gives a crap about the former winners.

I think its dumb of him to do this and bad for his image, but in a way I totally love that he is egging on all this hate and just doesn't seem to care

In direct contrast to what the Heisman represents. And he doesn't care that he was selected to be in that special group.

I prefer "Johnny Douchebag". As far as the media...he is the new Tebow.

Attaching Johnny football's likeness to the use of feminine hygiene products is demeaning to feminine hygiene products.

you try to be understanding of the situation, kid, success, mistakes, media frenzy...but in the end you gotta acknowledge that we don't get here w/o some serious character issues...

If I were on his team, I'd defend him outwardly, but seriously beat his A$$ behind closed doors...can't be at this level, and act like that w/o a cost to the program, and too many guys give too much of themselves to endure this extra scrutiny and distraction.

Was it ESPN or CBS? Doesn't matter, really. Either will prop up the SEC at will if it means $$$.

Yeah, it's funny how the media has been slobbering all over A&M. Nobody gave 2 shits about them when they were in the Big 12. They were perpetually a mediocre team just about every year in the Big 12. Couldn't close big games, often the 3nd or 4rd best team in Texas after UT and probably TCU (In recent years). They come in to the SEC, everyone expects them to get slaughtered, and they post a respectable 10-2 record in the regular season while catching Alabama with an upset after they faced a tough LSU match the week before. I'd be surprised if they catch anyone off guard this year, I think they'll pickup another loss or two this season. I think Johnny will show a lack of focus from the off season too and we'll see a drop off in his production or he'll barely make par as defenses are better prepared to gameplan for him.

Keep in mind A&M had five defensive starters suspended for the Rice game. Even still, their defense this year will be suspect and the biggest reason I think they end up 9-3. Plus, JF's best receiver and go to guy graduated. He will need to find a new "comfort" guy to throw to.

Alabama is going to spank his bare *** on national television, and I will enjoy watching the tantrum followed by a single tear rolling down his cheek. I'm not sure I ever disliked a college player more than I dislike this little punk.

A&M seem to have good chemistry with a few guys already (8 guys catch passes). Seals-Jones will be a beast. Evans had 6/84 and 2 TDs.

I do think a year of tape on JF will help contain him.

This is a good point. Sort of reminds me of the Big Ten promo ad they run at halftime of Big Ten games -- it shows snippets events and people from Big Ten football history and their achievements -- that shows Tom Osborne and Nebraska, and Joe Paterno and PSU, winning national titles. The Big Ten tries to drag those people and events into the Big Ten pantheon of "excellence." Shameless and grasping.
