Our highest rated recruit on 24/7.

Love the kids hard work and dedication. An elite wide receiver is a nice thing to have in every class. Don't know if we got that last year. Hunter was our highest rated guy and his future is in question. Brent reminds me a lot of Davaris Daniels.

I think that's a bit strong. If you're worried about his future, then I feel comfortable telling you that you can take a deep breath. He will be fine

Robinson could be elite

Truth. That could almost be said about any recruit.

We've also heard good things about James O and Will Fuller this summer. Time will tell.

I was talking more in terms of rankings. I believe Tori was our highest rated last year.

Maybe I missed an update. My apologies. Last I heard there was a snag in his recovery and he was debating playing baseball.

I think anytime there's an injury as serious as Tori's, it's fair to say his future's in jeopardy.

My understanding is that only this season is thought to be in jeopardy. I didn't hear anything as to a long term set back.

There are some very special gifts among these three. At least the first two. Robinson is Velcro from the elbow down, and has a coverage ratio that is going to make him an mini-megatron. He will use his body as well as any receiver at ND, thinking of the Samardzija's and Stoval's as well as the Floyd's. James O, he will be an absolute beach to bring down once he gets the ball. Think a little Golden Tate, with a lot of Gerome Bettis and some Manti Te'o. Fuller I don't have quite as good a handle on, but he is so underrated that I laugh when I see most posts about him.

I dont know, his commitment seems pretty wishy-washy to me.

He should see solid playing time his freshman year in my opinion.

I just read in the South Bend Tribune that Brent will play primarily RB this year to increase his touches. I have to admit, my initial reaction to this news is not a good one.

Notre Dame football recruiting: WR Brent fares well at camps - South Bend Tribune: Recruiting

Hoping to be a more useful threat for his Speedway High School team, Brent will play running back, safety and returner for the Sparkplugs as a senior.

Last year’s quarterback graduated and double and triple coverage is sure to follow Brent this season against Class 2-A competition. The position switch will guarantee him more touches, while the option of lining up wide will still remain. Brent caught 54 passes for 992 yards and 13 touchdowns as junior.

Yeah, I agree. Seems like possibly increased potential for injury and decreased opportunity to hone his skills at WR.

Looking through that list, we could have more than a handful of Mr. Footballs. We have at least three. Never looked at that before!

Exactly. I mean, I can see where his coach is coming from to an extent, but as a ND fan, I'd rather he not take that beating. It should be interesting to see how he does.

Mr. Iowa, Mr. Kansas and Mr. Kentucky would be nice. Mr. Washington wouldn't be bad either!
