So since you want to be a dick, how about you read some of the pages that came before this. Or would you rather just ask stupid questions all night

i actually did.
but couldnt find an answer.
thought a couple, simple "yes or no" questions wouldnt require too much heavy lifting or effrot for someone who is following as closely as you are and who also lives there to try and help us ill informed "outsiders".

Not following closely, but it's kind of hard not to see it being that it's on the news 24/7. Why on earth would his car be marked or him in a uniform? Do they not have neighborhood watch in NY? When I do post opinion it's just that my opinion and I have a pretty defined one, really don't care if you like it or not but the question you asked seems a little "silly" to me and anyone that's followed things even remotely this far.

I watched some of the coverage this week and forgot to Google "white a$$ cracker" to find out what it means.

Creepy A$$ Cracker.

I think you should try urban dictionary or whatever reference her "culture" uses.

Another good point. Poor training or a lie on GZ part. If you are neighborhood watch, you d@mned well better identify yourself as such before you approach. Just another red flag!

Bogs, I can kind of see what you are trying to get at but in this case the walking in the rain in their neighborhood is a totally different story. That specific neighborhood had had a long series of crimes that were to have been mostly committed by people that lived in the surrounding bad area. The gated community this took place in also was a common cut thru from the "bad neighborhood" to the convenience store. There is a history of complaints to the HOA to fence or gate the area that allowed for this to happen. So someone walking in the rain at night (that takes off running) does not scream I belong here. As for the heading into the dark to chase someone it's not a movie where you run from a lit street into a pitch black dark alley, the area was somewhat lit it wasn't just the amount of light that obscured the witnesses view it was the rain as well.

Thank you for your civil response!

Have they solved all past crimes to know where the perpetrators are coming from?
If it is a gated community how could people cut through it? (Unless the gates were only meant to show a certain snobbishness and appeal to potential residents on that basis and do nothing useful except as an invitation to trespass?)

My experience of going from high to low light areas is not based upon the movies. What is yours based upon? Ever dive into a hole in the ground not knowing what's at the bottom, or if there is a bottom, (in the first 50 meters)? Or ever move from a moonlit field on a clear night to heavy undergrowth?

They are digging into the "voice recognition" testimony this morning to determine who was yelling during the 911 call. The expert could not determine who was yelling. They believe that both mothers are going to claim it was their son. Again, it might come down to who the jury believes. The yelling stopped immediately after the gun-shot.

Hey Bogs from coming up north I have often thought "Gated" communities were silly as many are set up down here in FL. They are useless to keep foot traffic as many are only gated at the road access points and only for keeping vehicles out, while leaving many access points on foot. I lived in a subdivision in Daytona Beach that had different sub-neighborhoods under one main name. When I would go for my runs I could easily access the "gated" neighborhoods on walking/running paths.

He's gonna walk. Murder 2 was stupid to go for.

Especially after eyewitnesses stated they saw TM on top of GZ.

- Not illegal, nor required

-Seriously? I'm sure there are ways around the gate or thru it if the person is walking.

It seems to me that those that are in favor of Murder 2 are really grasping at straws here. You're trying to justify murder 2 with actions (from Zimmerman) that just don't apply.

Second-degree murder is ordinarily defined as: 1) an intentional killing that is not premeditated or planned, nor committed in a reasonable "heat of passion"; or 2) a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender's obvious lack of concern for human life. Second-degree murder may best be viewed as the middle ground between first-degree murder and voluntary manslaughter.

If Zimmerman had a "disregard" for human life, and was intent on killing TM...WHY THE F**K WOULD HE CALL 911 IN THE FIRST PLACE? Wouldn't he just have stalked TM, shot him, then called the cops and said Self defense?

This leads me to believe that GZ NEVER had the intent on killing TM, or even having to defend himself.

I mean, doesn't that make sense?

Nothing George Zimmerman did made any "sense". He seemed to escalate the situation for the worst at every turn due to his bad decision making beginning with going out to "patrol" the neighborhood with a loaded firearm.

In all fairness he was going to the grocery store, not making the rounds on the ole beat.

Did you see GZ's ssn flashed up on the screen starts with "2-2-". I wonder how many flipped out when they dropped the feed to catch that one!

Go back a couple pages; my commentary is being borne out. GZ was almost standing in front of 1460 when he walked through the area in which TM 'disappeared.' GZ then walked 'two blocks' through a darker area, and he was back lit, both on the way through and on the way back! A person couldn't have behaved more stupidly in that situation if they tried!!! If that is what really happened.

I'm still trying to follow this based on the presentation of evidence.

My takeaway reading this site and listening to the media

...a lot of "attitude" is ascribed to Mr. Zimmerman's alleged "actions/conduct".

As relates to "actions/conduct" from Mr. Martin actually entered into evidence, great effort is taken to not ascribe "attitudes" e.g. "Crazy *** Cracker".

...outside that, much left to be presented...

We were talking earlier in this thread about how Z's lawyer said he wouldn't necessarily testify, and how could that be. Here's our answer:

Zimmerman jury hears tape of police interrogation

The State introduced a tape of Z's interview with police the night of the incident. Now that there's direct evidence in the record that Z acted in self-defense, I don't think he has to testify unless he wants to, or his lawyers want him to.

like ive said before i dont think there is any chance this guy takes the stand...even if he wanted to his lawyers wouldnt let him. seems that "no good" can/would come from it in terms of his overall defense IMO. too mush risk on cross examination by the prosecuotrs.

Keep in mind when you say "two blocks" it was not a "city" block, it was between two units.

I've only watched a little of the trial, but living in Orlando its on 24/7. If I remember correctly one of the witnesses said the exact opposite of that. One of the neighbors said that after the shots were fired the person on top was the one who got up. The person on the bottom didn't move after the shots.

In all fairness, this is a guy that called 911 46 times in 8 years prior to this situation. It is reasonable to believe that GZ always felt as if he was "on the ole beat".

If he is acquitted, I pray to God there are no riots. I lived through the Rodney King riots in LA during law school, and dont want to see tha stuff again. That was frightening, sad, and horrible to see happening all around me. Dont want to see anyone else have to deal with something like that again,

it was a Kel-tec PF9 9mm. I sure hope it was his wife's gun. The last part has to be BS.

My understanding is he has been permitted since 2009 to legally conceal carry. If he was illegally carrying, Im sure it would have been all over the press by now also.
