Right. The reason why I edited is because I actually don't know how important academics are to him and I'm not trying to debate that with you. All I'm saying is your interpretation of what he said was a little strange, regardless of how much he actually values academics. Usually when someone says something exceeded their expectations or whatever he said, they're just giving a cliche compliment.

He should know by the end of the week if Bama is going to offer or if the Tide is making the push for Cornwell. And I agree that Ga offering is not good for the Irish.

Rumor is he was taken in to offset the (presumably expected) Park departure. Some seem to think Park has one foot out the for even before Lambert. He was apparently clearly the #3 coming out of spring.
