'13 OH DT/OG Donovan Munger (Ohio State Verbal)

I think we would take him. We have four OTs and a DE. Munger is an OG/DT. Seems to make sense to pencil him in at DT but love that he can play offense too. Personally I loved his defensive film.

I mean he looks great on either side of the ball from his tape, him killing that QB was legit, but I just can't get that play out of my head where he blasts the linebacker then continues upfeild and crushes the second guy that was in pursuit! The kid is just driving dudes 10-15 yards off the ball and doesn't quit until they are on the ground....Anyone with that kind of mentality is definitely worth taking IMO especially since he could play either side.

Yeah, he's vicious and tenatious, qualities I love in a G. Ignatious is a great school I'm sure academics as a priority is more than lip service. In highlight video I loved the play at :49. That DE wanted no part of Mungur. You could tell he'd been getting punished all game. I'd still take him in a heartbeat.

He'd be a good pickup for a project on OL......Sean Mahan did a nice review on ISF about him. He said he's very athletic and moves well during run blocking, however, didn't get to review one play for pass protection because his team never passes the ball.

Would've liked to have added him, but I'm ecstatic with our OL haul nonetheless.

We have a tremendous REAL record of playing [successfully] freshman D-Liners. That should be a good selling point for Diaco, and maybe not for Meyer.

If there's not an update on here, then nothing's happening in his recruitment as it pertains to ND.

No, I don't know how his recruitment is going, but last I heard he just didn't have a lot of ND interest.

I wonder if the staff has checked in on him though. I hope they give it a shot. I would LOVE to get this guy. We are thin at OG and DL, and he could play either position. Not that I really think he would play offense for us; his defensive tape was amazing. Absolute wrecking ball.

people on this board always wonder why we don't offer someone or push hard ....we only get a small glimpse of what the staff is doing and know...the crap they know about these kids that the general public doesn't know is baffling...they talk w/ teachers, guidance counselors, coaches etc...
