Thoughts on Loy so far? I have a hard time getting excited for some rando who used to cover UNC. But he must be talented if 247 opted to hand over coverage of one of their most followed teams to him.

He hasn't officially started yet. He actually started with FSU 24/7 before the UNC site and was with Rivals before that @ FlaVarsity.com. So he will have Florida connections as well as Pennsylvania and North Carolina. I am glad he is moving to SB to get more involved. He will get owned I am sure for a while by ISD and Rivals so Wiltfong will have to keep BGI afloat for a while. I am mainly staying because we will now be able to read all the other sites boards.

Don't like that he's still going to be doing stuff for UNC. The ND job should be enough on its own. BTW does Biggers still work there? Haven't seen anything from him since Sapp announced he's leaving. ND needs two guys to do the job and right now it looks like he they will have 0 guys.

I think I read that Biggers was on medical leave or taking time off for a new baby or something like that. Any of that ringing a bell with anyone else? I might be thinking of something else.

24 7 is taking over.

By far the best analyst in the game. They have taken all the great ones from rivals

About to do the same, I know its been quiet but its like a ghost town over there. Tom Loy has posted nothing as well.

I'm close to canceling too. Haven't seen anything out of them really. Hope Loy gets that Carolina board rolling though.

Just looked at his twitter feed. The only ND related tweet was a response to fister. Everything else is UNC football or Wiggins.

Yeah, I'm definitely dissatisfied too right now. I'm going to give Loy a shot and stick around at least through the Opening, but if Loy hasn't impressed me by mid-July then I'm switching to II or ISD.

Dan Murphy is great for general ND news and Lou Somogyi's historical perspective is always cool, but those things are just nice bonuses; I'm subscribing for the recruiting updates, and those have been lacking lately.

I'm glad you fellas brought this up because I have been in the wait and see camp like most of you and if it doesn't get better I'm out as well. Wiltfong had been doin his best the first couple of weeks but he can't keep that up. I already have II so I would like to hear some thought on ISD.

II is the way to go. Jake Brown and Pete Sampson are dialed in with the program. Sometimes you need to pick Pete's brain because he doesn't tell you unless you ask him kind of thing. TJ is worth it as well. I didn't know Loy started on the 20th. I will wait but I am not happy.

I have all 3 of them. Irish sports daily is good, not great. I really like Christian and honestly that's about it. Features aren't even close to what Rivals and 24 7 bring

I would rank them
247 when staffed

Thanks for the insight. I have to agree that prior to J.Sapp leaving BGI was head and shoulders the best. Hopefully Loy can make a seamless transition, we shall see.

You will be able to read every recruiting update on every 24/7 site by the end of the month for no extra cost. I think it is worth the wait. I am not expecting much from Loy initially as it will take a while to build relationships.
