Chuck Martin visited him and then they talked on the phone. He feels an offer could be coming soon. If offered, he would definitely visit. Has been to Michigan State 5 or so times, Michigan, and Ohio State. An offer from ND would "mean everything" to him.

Has an OSU offer and he's visited, but they didn't make his top 5. Probably a non actionable offer.

Could it be that he feels an offer is coming soon and he will be anouncing soon be positives for ND?

If so does he fill the CAT slot or one of the swing guys? He seems to be positionally similar to Trumbetti.

I don't think that's the case. MSU has a couple of his former HS teammates on the roster and I believe the kids sister goes there.

He told one of the guys over at 247 though that if USC offers to him he will commit there immediately without even having visited. Kid already committed to Ohio State for a week and then de-committed, he's not the most stable, so even if USC offers and he commits right off the jump there's a good chance he doesn't sign an LOI there.

he was actually committed to Ohio State then De-Committed 6 days later saying he wasn't ready then Ohio State pulled his offer which is why they didnt make his top 5 or even top 8

Irishenvy is without question the most level-headed Irish site there is. The mods do a damn fine job of toning down the rhetoric and there are plenty of us, myself included, who put overzealous expectations/assumptions in their place.

But the idea that you can come on here as a Buckeye fan and start throwing around "asshat" and making false assumptions about what we (IE'ers) think Notre Dame is, is just stupid. You won't last long that way.

Welcome to the site, but let me make some suggestions for you. I would avoid "talking ****" to anyone on this site or about Notre Dame fans in general. You have to remember you're 1 against 100,000.

The red bar below your name on this site is your reputation bar. Red is a bad reputation. Green is a good one. If you get enough bad reps, you lose your ability to access the site. You're getting negative reps because of these two comments.

So choose your words wisely if you would like to stick around longer and learn to take jabs. You will get plenty of shots for being an Ohio State fan on this board. We try to limit that, but it happens no matter what. So again, pick your battles if you want to stay here for long.

Oh, and the comments about the "pulled scholarship" from our fans is because OSU fans are notorious for saying a prospect didn't commit or consider OSU because he didn't have an actionable offer from OSU. It has nothing to do with us being cocky like you suggest. It's really quite the other way around.

I did you a favor and deleted your posts talking smack (so people could no longer neg rep you) in order to give you a second chance. Make it worthwhile.
