It's not so much of what it said, it's more of what I think is going to happen.

Comes away impressed by impressed by Notre Dame, parents love the campus/education, and he will have a Notre Dame high for about a week. Then everything will go back to normal and NC will still be the favorite.

And even after a "home run" visit to Notre Dame, he will still be a tough pull from NC. I don't like our chances but I'm probably wrong

lol, what did u expect? Visit was a homerun, as good as possible. Did u expect it to be easy to land a :s::s::s::s::s: RB?

Also of note, he was hanging w/ Harrell, Farley, and Okwara a lot during the visit, the NC products

no quotes from Elijah yet just Steve's thoughts

You may or may not be right, but I feel like its pure speculation. Kids like this go either way after saying stuff like that, and our staff has proven itself capable of recruiting against every school.

Don't know about ISD

II spoke with his father and he said:

- still wants to talk to BK because he wants to know who he's sending his son but he understands why he wasn't there
- spent time with Alford and Ernest Jones along with the NC players
- got chills when they went to mass this morning
- Enjoyed everything ND has to offer and besides talking to BK got all their questions answered.
- mentioned visiting UNC and ND again

Thought this visit with the parents would speed up the decision.....looks like it will drag out a lil longer if they still intend to visit both schools yet again. Looks like they will most likely be official visits.

Dad made it seem that we won't get a commitment from Elijah until he's met Kelly. Dad said that meeting Kelly would be like putting the key in the door for Elijah. Sampson said Kelly can't visit him until fall so it would be up to the family to come back or we'd have to wait until then for that meeting to happen. Reason for bringing that up is I think we have to take the previous timeline for his commitment out of the equation.

ISD was just that Mike heard the visit went really well but he still isn't sure what Hood will do. Parents did love the visit, so that was a huge positive.

He was in New York for the draft. Vee Hood said that it is important that he meets BK at some point but was very understanding of why he wasn't there this weekend.
