interesting list of schools, seems like academics truly are a priority for this kid.

ESPN today had picked him to go to Stanford "because of what they offer academically." Are we seriously in the mix? Because we ought to be. Our next stud DE?

First of all, ESPN is as bad as Bleacher Report when it comes to recruiting.

On another note, what is he planning on studying in college?

I know ESPN sucks on recruiting. I have no idea what he plans to study (though I'm not one to get hung up on who has what major, frankly).
I just see that 247 Composite's #2 SDE is kid who appears to care about school, yet who I've heard little about on our end. So I hope we're seriously in on him. According to this thread he's planning a visit. That's great.

We're not playing around with these June visitors. Its ND's personal 5 star showcase.

Let's hope it works out more in our favor than that ENORMOUS group of OV for the night game a few years back. You can have too many visitors if you cannot give enough time to each one.

On Solomon though, I really think we have a good shot here if the staff does their work on him. Family already has a huge interest in the academic side and we fit the bill. Let's grab up all the lineman.

Would make this class unreal, ND still needs the difference maker upfront like tuitt/nix.

That would be a day after the Rivals Challenge at Soldier Field. This venue may prove to be a gift for Notre Dame. Five verbal recruits will be in attendance - Alex Bars, Justin Brent, Elijah Hood, Quenton Nelson, and Sam Mustipher. They will have an opportunity to meet and greet targets - Kyle Allen, Tyler Luatua, Nyles Morgan, Jack Beneventi, Jacques Patrick, Josh Malone, Thomas Holley, Malachi Dupre, John Smith, Joe Mixon, and Solomon Thomas, to name a few.
