Only on site in the fall. I usually try to grab a growler or two of it.

Right now some Earl Grey tea with a splash of milk (the English way).

For my money, San Tan is the best brewery in the Phx area. Four Peaks by ASU is a nice spot, but I'll take the brew at San Tan. And, frankly, the setting is better.

I actually watched the end of the ND-Stanford game there this year.

I would add that San Tan has better food as well. Their half bacon half ground beef burger is very good and their San Antonio Mac and Cheese is very good as well (it is mac and cheese with onions, smoked brisket and cornbread crumbs.

Vegetarian...but I've never been hungry when I left. Some great stuff. Was also pleased the first time I tried Devil's Ale. A good, standard pale.

Have you had Mr. Pineapple? It is there Hefeweizen brewed with fresh pineapple. Pretty good and and nice summer drink.

Right now Lagunitas SUCKS. I think I still have 2 six packs of this left. I have already drank and shared 4 six packs. Something tells me that I like this beer.

I have a serious aversion to Belgian beers and Wheat beers. So Hefes are usually a no go.

I generally like Laguinitas quite a bit. It's a maltier IPA, but not bad. Their Little Sumpin is quite good too. I generally gravitate to the hoppiest thing that has little to no balance/malt. "Well-balanced IPA" is a dirty phrase for me. My top 5:

- Green Flash - West Coast IPA
- Surly Furious (Brooklyn Center, MN)
- Bitter Professor IPA - 23rd St Brewery (Lawrence, KS)
- Odel IPA
- Rotating (Possibly New Belgium Ranger IPA right now)

I guess I have to put Pliny the Elder in there as well. A bit more balanced, but just an excellent beer.

Have you had Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA? or Ballast Point Sculpin IPA? both of those are hoppy with little balance. I also like Firestone Union Jack IPA and Stone IPA for unbalanced IPAs. Though I will say that Green Flash West Coast IPA is one of the best West Coast IPA's out there. This Lagunitas SUCKS is pretty good and on the hoppy/citrus side.

I would struggle with my top 5 IPAs. That is like asking me to pick my favorite child.

Fathead's Bumbleberry Ale. Unlike a lot of fruit beers this one is not too sweet, with the fruit flavor being more mild and not overpowering the beer. While it's cold in South Bend tonight this is a very drinkable but flavorful summertime beer.

Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA. I think I like it better than you pkt. It's no Lagunitas or Stone but it'll do.

Which version is it? I had the 2013 Mosaic Hops version.

I would put about 30+ IPA's above it if not more.

Out of curiosity have you had Bear Republic Racer 5 or Firestone Union Jack IPA?

Hopology collection. Never had the Bear Republic or the Firestone beers unfortunately. Not sure if I can get those beers in MI. Not saying the Sam Adams is a top 5/10/15 beer of mine but its not too bad for my tastes.

I order Sam Adams over the big 3 but generally I will take New Belgium or just about any other craft over Sam Adams.
