I thought this would be a good place to put this as some including myself have been perplexed as to the staffs strategy thus far in recruiting. Why are we not recruiting so and so more? Wiltfong started a thread on 247, to basically say that ND's recruiting board probably looks much different than that of the 247 composite or rankings in general. He is confident is the staffs ability to get another high quality class this year. It just might not be the guys we are drooling over right now. He expects a lot of visitors over the summer and fall and those visitors to be exciting prospects.

While NDs campus is hands down one of the nicest I have been on, UM is not that bad. The thing that sells quite well is Ann Arbor itself. Its a beautiful area.

i am well aware we used some parts of it for an idea, but being to both stadiums, there is a considerable differences between the two

in regards to peppers, hopefully we can atleast get a visit out of him to make enough of an impression to get one of his officials

Peppers at the moment is an Ohio State-Michigan battle according to 247Sports.

I'd still be quite shocked if you ultimately ended up with Hand. I still expect Tech or SEC... and maybe some other ACC schools... to make a run. And there's probably going to be $$$ involved.

The other three I'd consider you heavy favorites for... Peppers has a longer way to go though to securing that commitment. He's still going to take multiple visits and is strongly considering other places.

good post and I agree. Also, it's not like Notre Dame is known for good looking girls either. If recruits in the midwest really want that they need to go to MSU or Ohio State.

Staff can't throw out offers to kids they don't want just to get another player, thats not fair to the kid. That said, I wouldn't mind JBB getting an offer as he seems talented
