Get out. I have a friend who's parents have a place in there. Probably been in their about 10 times. Beautiful community. We are on Vanderbilt Beach road farther north. Smaller community called Pipers Grove.

yeah ive only been there like 3 times. Only perks is the golf and the hot neighbor who seems to be the only 19-21 year old person there but me. I have never heard of Pipers grove but i literally know nothing about the area.

A good friend of mine lives about 30 mins away from FGCU. I've heard that their students/young alumni endearingly call the place "Florida Get Crunk University." Pretty catchy.

Went to FGCU for a year in 01', it has grown so much since I was there its stunning. Alico arena was still being built back then, now they're in the sweet 16! Unbelievable.

Go Eagles!

A) Louisville - They have blown out every team and have looked totally dominate.
B) Marquette
C) MSU, LaSalle, FGCU, Miami
D) Not a cinderella; They are a terrifically coached team filled with athletes that can shoot and led by a terrific point guard. The only weakness they have is their Depth at the forward position and their pace is a matchup nightmare.

I know this is fan talk but MSU is being heavily undervalued in this tournament. We have dominated both our match ups including a 30+ win team in Memphis. The matchups against Duke and Louisville actually favor us and when Appling plays well we could be the most balanced team in the country.

A) Louisville...But more like 1a-1b with Michigan, thought that VCU game would be much closer than what it was...Would've had them in the final four had they finished out the regular season better.
B) Marquette...Squeaked by in both their games, but the boy Vander Blue has most definitely been impressive
C) Louisville (Mich St. game should be great), Wichita St., Michigan, Miami
D) Will make me cry (tears of joy or sadness? We will see soon enough...

A) Most impressive Sweet 16 team? Louisville, dominating. Close second to FGCU, b/c I had never seen them play.

B) Least impressive Sweet 16 team? Marquette, and at times KU.
C) New Final Four? Louisville, KU, Ohio St., Miami (Actually the same, think KU "fixed" themselves second half the other day, if McClemore pulls his head out they will be tough to beat....Plus, Michigan has struggled against tough D--lost to every top 35 defense they played this year away from home, KU is #1.)

D) FGCU? Awesome to watch, what is great about the tournament, as long as they don't do it to your team. That said I think they had two good matchups, and the Gators will probably end their run.

A) FGCU - In that it's impressed me that they've done so well. And I love how they play. Oregon also really surprised me, but I don't really watch any basketball.
B) Haven't watched enough to tell ya.
C) MSU, UM, OSU, IU - That was the first one I came up with before the tournament.
D) Holy crap, right? See post A.

Any other thoughts on Sweet 16?

A) Michigan - Burke looks like a straight up stud and handled the ball well against VCU. I could very easily pick Oregon here too. Beat a very good OKST team and a very good SLU team quite handily.

B) Indiana - Zeller is a big baby down in the post. Syracuse will eat his lunch in that 2-3.

C) Sticking with my original of Duke, Ohio State, Kansas, and Miami. Russ Smith is a dummy and will bring Louisville down in the Elite 8.

D) Dunk City, Florida baby!

Other thoughts?
What the hell was the committee doing by stacking Louisville, Duke, Michigan St, SLU, and Oregon (as a 12 seed) in the Midwest? No other region even compared!

A. Louisville overall in a two game stretch (consistent 20+ pt beat downs). Michigan is a close second based on the VCU beat down. Oregon/FGCU tied for 3rd.
B. Miami and Marquette tied
C. Staying with my original, Mich, Ohio St., IU, and Louisville.
D. Coach's wife is hot. Coach can coach. Boyz can run. Great job in putting Ft. Myers on the map. He won't be there long.

Bold prediction - FGCU over UF. Oregon comes close.

With all the talk of the Big East being overrated: a Big East team is guarenteed a Final Four team, Marquette handily beat Miami (ACC) and Syracuse handily beat Indiana (Big Ten). So yeah...

Great effort by Cuse tonight. Silver medal goes to Doug Gottlieb. Still trying to make sense of that one.

Crean is the Ron Zook of college basketball. He can recruit well and that covers some of his deficiencies as a coach, but in the end, he'll get exposed and outcoached. Boeheim, as much as I hate him, is one of the best and had his team prepared and they executed.

Wouldn't go that far... Certainly not giving him any coach of the year awards, but he has not done bad with what he inherited. He also did a damn good job of identifying VO, and turning him into stud. No reason to crown him yet, but no reason to behead him either.

Zeller being a little girl on the courts been a problem for IU all year. I like to root for IU but i had Cuse in my bracket. He really needs to step up next year (assuming he comes back)

UCLA (or any team with a vacancy) would be making a huge mistake if they didn't call Greg Marshall the second Witchita State's tourney run is up. Dude is an great coach. Beat ND with Winthrop.

I posed the question which coach is better than Brey and would leave his current job for ND earlier, and this is one guy IMO.

True, I just live in Indianapolis where he has already been crowned and canonized by many of the IU alums/fans, so I felt the need to go a little overboard with the criticism.

Beating us in March isn't exactly a difficult thing to do.
