Cooley picks up his second foul with 9 minutes to go, luckily the Shermanator is rolling so far. 3/3 for 6 points.

bad Connaughton so far today. Airballed 3 that lead to a fastbreak 3 by Louisville, just airballed a layup on a press break then proceeded to throw the ensuing inbound pass away leading to another transition 3. Danger time for the Irish down 9.

It seems like in the last few games refs are calling ticky-tack fouls on Cooley early in games, especially moving screens. These are getting him in foul trouble and preventing him from developing a rhythm. His numbers are way down recently.

He's honestly helped Notre Dame in the two games more than hurt us. 1 on 4 haha

Luke Hancock is my least favorite player in CBB. It's not even close.

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Smith's decision making against ND.

How is the hell was Jack Cooley ever a Wooden Award semi-finalist. What has happened to him? Tough lose, but now the games begin to count for something. Guys play hard, just not a lot of scoring ability other than outside shooting.

Wow, just got back from Mexico and am first hearing about Sir Dominik ****. What a thug.

That looks like a hella tough seed. Can get by Colorado but likely playing Ohio State on second round, which would be brutal.

Very special experience for our team this afternoon, and we'd like to send our thanks to the great @Sept11Memorial staff. #UnitedByHope

Can't complain too much about this. Personally I think ND is a 6th seed but that is nick picking on my part.

I do too. Especially as I look at the 6 seeds, I think we're more talented. Our comp numbers are lacking though. We unfortunately probably have to beat Depaul/Rutgers and then Marquette to be assured of a 6 seed. Probably about 50/50 if we go 1-1 this week in MSG.

Who knows though? I thought we had a 6 locked up last year, and they gave us a 7 (we ended the year 11-3 and won 9 in a row in the Big East for crying out loud), and I thought we'd get a 7 or 8 in 2010 and they gave us a 6.

It doesn't matter about the talent. ND always chokes in the Tournament. I will bet all of my vbucks that ND is out before the Sweet 16, regardless of seed and matchups.

I wish I could tell you you're ignorant and that people should stop making random negative posts like this. But. I kinda think you're right... :eek:hwhateve
