Leonard Fournette type his name and grab some popcorn

Well I should have been specific and said "Most impressive running back film that I have seen of a kid that we have a chance with"

And after watching Leonard's film. I think Leonard obviously has more speed but I think Hood has more power

Sony's film is pretty darn impressive too, very different, but possibly better still imo.

That's Erik Dickerson reinvented. Where's this kid leaning?

It's crazy how much better Gurley was than Keith, although Keith was the one everyone wanted so badly. Both will be great, but Gurley was a monster this year.

Very true. The first time I heard anybody really say anything to that effect was during the NC/SC shrine game. Gurley was the best player on the field.

Hood reminds me of Bettis in a way. Shuffles his feet, delivers blows while running, and deceptively fast. Somebody said it but Fournette looks like Dickerson...OMG!

I remember the RB from Louisiana who went to USC, apparently he was the best RB in the country (also the top overall player behind Jimmy) and then he had a good (not great) career but no more. Yes, Joe Mcknight.

Rivals and scout are very inaccurate in the state of Louisiana. There are a lot of examples.

Well he's got a 100-rating on 247 if that means anything to you. He's sure to be a 5-star on espn, too.

I see your point but Fournette (and Scarbrough) is a full grown man already, easily the best RB prospect since AD.

If Bama manages to somehow steal Fournette from LSU and keep Scarbrough? Speechless.

I'll take a Keith Marshall over anyone almost.

Especially considering we already have Bryant for a bruiser-type.

What is the bonus of a "bruiser" though? Pounding a defense and physically exhausting them. By that logic, wouldn't two be even better? You lengthen the amount of fresh punishing reps a defense has to take. Then, when their mindset is to stop the muscle, the burner comes in to the tune of 8 ypc, a la Atkinson.

In my opinion Elijah has the perfect amount of speed and brute force to do wonders for Notre Dame. His break away speed isnt the greatest i have ever seen but for his size its damn impressive. I really hope ND gets a verbal from this kid over the weekend

I'd buy that for John Curtis kids (McKnight). In Louisiana, schools are strictly tiered based on class size. Curtis is a smaller school, so it winds up playing a few tiers down, despite being among the best programs in the country. They wind up having more talent at every position than the schools they're playing, and sometimes it's hard to tell whether the player is truly elite or just a good player who's benefiting from the talent mismatch.

Fournette, though, is dominating the top-tier of competition in the most talent-dense state in the country. Most of those schools in his film will send 1-3 players to SEC programs each year and many more to D-II and D-III programs. I'd have more faith in his talent than McKnight.

I will take any two; Hood, Fournette, and Michel.

Why would you leave Nathan Starks out of this equation? Considering the level of competition both Bishop Gorman and American Heritage play, eleven touchdowns and 1200 yards would be a very good year for a running back. Besides, these are programs you want to establish and maintain a recruiting relationship.

Because we were talking about these three?

I like his comments alot!

"I just like the program and I think it's on the rise," Hood told Rivals.com. "I love the education. It's one of the best educations you can get in the world. That's awesome.

"I like the fact that all their games are televised. That's a big deal because at least I'd know my family would be able to see me play. That's another thing I really like. There are a lot of things I really like about them."

Would be great to get his verbal early!
