Another way of looking at it though, is that once they come off sanctions, they'll be a team with depleted depth and holes throughout their roster. A lot of coaches know it will still take a few years, assuming everything goes right in that time, to potentially get them back to snuff. Plus, the new coach will have a tall order alone in just trying to rid the program of all the nasty Lane Juices he infested there. I wouldn't be shocked if sc had to finally hire a coach who was not "at the top of their list."
