He tweeted that he is no longer playing basketball in college. He is still committed to Sparty but is opening it up to make sure of his choice.

If he wants to ball on both the field and court at the highest level available to him... all signs point to tOSU
not taking anything away from our basketball program or Michigans for that matter, both programs are on the rise with a very good recruiting classes coming in... tOSU basketball program respectively has just been there year in and out the past several years.

This seem to be the main topic on my local Michigan sports talk show this afternoon. The explained it as he has a big connection with Izzo and if he were to play basketball then MSU would be his only choice. But apparently Urban quietly went to one of his basketball games. Its still only rumor that he has decommited and only rumor that he wont play basketball. Seems to lean towards OSU if he plays just football. But the local show said he has grown up a die hard MSU fan and doubt he leaves them in the end.

As the second post that you quoted says, he's said himself he will only play football and he is opening up his recruitment without decommitting.

He is definitely only playing football in College.
Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan State, Michigan, Florida, and Notre Dame are all supposedly even.
When asked What are you looking forward to seeing on your visit to pOSU, he responded with:
I definitely want to see more of the educational side of the school. I'm interested in business as a major. I also want to see the football stadium. I got to see the facilities on my visit last spring.
If the thing that he is most looking forward to on a visit is seeing the educational side of things and he's interested in Business as a major, that can only be a positive for us.

He tweeted he just received an offer from Cal and earlier a pic of his state championship ring. I don't know how to embed the instagram pic. And East Lansing is close for him, and he was at the game last night.
