And now no doubt Shaq's recent online purchase of a Ph. D., will be touted as an example of LSU's strong academics.

LSU really needs to learn to **** off sometimes. They've got 7 DL commits, 7! Just lay off, be satisfied with the players you have, let the kid play with his brother.

This is one dude that I can almost understand not worrying about academics...he's going to be a menace at the next level. It's Ole Miss for sure...they have pulled quite a class.

are you serious??

the number one player in the country wants to visit your school. you bring him in absolutely and push to the very end even if you have 30 DL recruits.

I'm pretty sure he's just saying he'd rather not have this kid go to LSU.

He was joking around.

that's not how i read it...i don't want him to go to LSU either, but that doesn't mean they back off and let him go to a major rival

WE shouldn't back off. I really hope we get this guy. Has this ship sailed yet? Do we have a visit left to flip him? How solid is he on going to Washington State?

whens the last time we were in the running all recruiting process with the #1 prospect. Not someone we got on campus but with someone with legit interest.

We landed the #3 prospect this season. That's pretty damn close to #1. Wasn't Manti #2 overall?

#6 on Scout

He was big none-the-less.

Jaylon is going to be a major impact player. LB's that can Rush the passer are just gold.

Go Irish!

Nkemdiche doesn't look like someone most fraternity guys should be fighting with. 6'2, 250 lbs and works out 365 days per year vs 180 lb drunk fraternity guy never ends well.

But a cool $2 mil will buy a lot of beer. Was it worth it? I would say yep.

Yeah, the punch to the back of the head isn't cool. No telling what (if anything) provoked it, whether the kid said something to Nkemdiche first, or the Nkemdiche brothers are loose cannons acting like entitled jocks. I'm sure more info will come out, but the Nkemdiche brothers are looking like a problem, or at best two players who haven't matured enough to understand that in their position they have to just walk away from situations.

This might be the most likely case

Serderius Bryant, Denzel Nkemdiche of Ole Miss Rebels suspended after arrests - ESPN

They were both suspended for the first quarter of the bowl game too

Add 3 inches, and almost 50 pounds

I didn't realize he was that big. From what I remember, very little of it is fat either. He looks like a bigger version of Mike Tyson in his prime. Seriously big, muscled up kid.
