Totally agree Ironman, Alford has been a great influence on recruits but also in coaching the RB's. Like Diaco I hope he sticks around for awhile. Something interesting that I wanted to bring up as well is that Wiltfong keeps stating that Folston was at or near the top of the recruiting board for ND since the beginning of the process regardless of position. Staff really likes this kid. Sounds like more so than the services.

Basically what it says. I'm not holding my breathe but I feel a lot better about this than I did 3 days ago. He is my third favorite player in this class.

I wasn't asking for any info GB. Sorry i was just posting the tweet. Thanks though!

Gotta ask, is it?

1) Jaylon
2) Redfield
3) Folston

Yes sir. What's yours man?

The same. It wasn't until I saw Folston play corner in his all-star game though. He is freeky athletic and I believe he will see the field early and often. Shoot, I thought he was the best secondary player in the game, and he's a rb.

I agree with this. After watching that game I was blown away. He could probably see the field at CB as a freshman. Before anyone jumps down my throat I'm not saying that's what the staff SHOULD do. I'm saying the guy is extremely athletic and skilled and will be a factor early.

You talking favorite just based on personal feelings, overall impact during their time at ND, or best 'prospects'?

I'm just talking personal favorites.

Max Redfield was my favorite player in this class when I first watched his film. Yes I have a man crush.
Jaylon smith- do I need to explain?
Tarean Folston- I saw some Oregon poster who swears Folston reminds him of Barner. I higher on Folston than Bryant and I love his versatility. Plus he picked off Laser Rockett and I think he can be a great punt returner. Just love his versatility.
Mike Heuerman- just pure balls and swag

Gotcha. I agree with all of these. My adds would be McGlinchey, Deeb and Luke. I think McGlinchey and Luke has massive upside, and I absolutely loved Deeb's senior film and his work ethic / tenacity.

I think one of Devin Butler and Rashad Kinlaw will stand out and see significant time early.

A lot of the scouts say McGlinchey is an NFL tackle waiting to be developed.

Thought I might have been the only one who thought this. I would be pissed if ND lost Folston kid is a baller.

I'm also extremely high on Randolph. I don't think the drop off is big if any between him and Anzalone.

Randolph vs Anzalone as a ILB or LB in general?

Between the two, I would have much rather lost Anzalone than Randolph.

Losing Folston had me in cold sweats.

IMO AA is a much bigger lost than Randolph would of been. We don't really recruit 5* ILB to often. No knock on Doug at all can't wait to watch him be in a gold helmet.

Agreed.

We are not alone in this.

AA is a big loss.

Since he is announcing 2:30 on signing day, is Kelly pushing back the usual time of his signing day conference?

Vanderdoes is announcing at like 5:00 PM, I'm guessing Pacific time

If he waits until all the prospects are done, that's probably the last one
