Wiltfong has an update stating that the visit went very well and the staff was told that TF would be coming to ND. Auburn has an in-home tonight. Hopefully TF tells them thanks but no thanks.

Great news....i've been so tense about this one. it will be the one on signing day that I'll be looking for. I guess I'll pay attention to a few from Cali as well.

This kid is driving me crazy. Keeps reaffirming his commitment to ND theme turns around and has a meeting with auburn. This is pretty comical. Like others have said, why even visit with them if your coming to ND

i think malzahn has like 3 (maybe more) former big time football programs recruiting coordinators on his staff:
ex-FSU recrutiing coord Craig
ex-Arkansas recrutiing coord Hinton
i think theres one more...not sure

no way im "resting easy" on this commitment. these types are stone cold recruiting killers.

i love our guys but if we dont think holding onto TF is going to be a battle were deluding ourselves.

like someone said already--ill be certain of this one when that fax heads out to the 574

Yea it's tough to read TF. I noticed that his twitter no longer says committed to ND like it did before. Has anyone notice and he does not have pro ND tweets. Hope we get him cuz we turned down some good backs for him. That would be a kick in the nuts if he goes to Auburn.

its hard...real hard for these kids...all I can say is, ...wish there was a way for them to fast-forward to their 30 yo selves just for this decision...recruiting at ND would get pretty easy then...

Hope he's Irish...

so Mike Blakely is leaving Auburn..I guess Folston will see the field quicker if he does choose them. :/

This may have already been discussed at length, but how does Auburn's OL stack up with ours?

It doesnt. Auburn has recruited great in the last four years but people have been dropping out of the program like flies. That was one bad team last year. Im not saying Auburn cant get back to where it belongs, in the middle of the SEC. But they arent typically a NC team. They had a good year with Tuberville when they went undefeated and USC won the NC but that was a VERY favorable year and todays SEC powers werent much then. The NC year from them was a direct result of two mercenary players.

Case in point, no comparison.

Thank god I am just a fan and not a coach, this CRAP would drive me insane. I don't know how they have the patience for this stuff and how they continue to fight for kids.

Kudos to our staff either way on this kid......they are going toe to toe with Gus.

247 update says he told the Auburn staff last night he was going to ND and then reaffirmed that with the ND staff after his Auburn meeting. He's Irish.
