Had the same thought. We have room for both, and we could easily whiff on both Fitts and Vanderdoes. Hopefully he still comes.

nice.. I just noticed that he's not the typical 6'4" or 6'5" that the staff seems to be recruiting at that OLB position so I had my doubts about him playing there but rather trying him out at ILB first.. I don't hate it

I say Diaco transitions to the 5-2 Monster defense, like gradeschool days. Then Hollins can be the Monster and play anywhere on any play, and we can stop guessing.

His dad has been very pro UCLA again today on twitter, but with recruiting today...who knows...

I wouldn't expect his dad to say anything different. Think of the heat coming his way if he says he's changing his mind and ND is it. Let UCLA visit then make the announcement after they are gone so he doesn't have to sit thru a grilling trying to get him to change his mind.
