Who is his player guide? It seems like EV had Nix and Fitts has Farley but please correct me if I'm wrong.

This is pretty big that we made that much of an impression. Said his parents choice will be the deciding factor.

Hosted by Romeo, isn't a big party guy so it was good to see how he connected with everyone without having to go to parties. Said he's still committed to UCLA, but the visit definitely "blurred" his mind. Needs to talk to parents.

It has been thought for awhile that his father is definitely ok with the idea of his son attending ND. So I don't think distance is a factor. However position might be, this kid has been exceptional at rushing the passer and now we might ask him to stop the run and cover RB and TE. Not sure how that works out

He'll be asked to dk what Prince Shembo does. Fits perfectly in the ND 3-4. Reminds some in Texas of Von Miller.

The staff told him there is a chance he ends up at ILB due to depth that might be the fastest way to the field. So while I like your comparison the staff has the final say.

What do you guys think of him being ILB? He's on the small side.

I actually think he would do well at ILB. He could create pressure up the middle with his speed. He seems like an LSU LB that gets pugged in anywhere with his versatility. Either way he will play wherever he is best served to help the team.

On being an ILB, he's a quick twitch type of athlete so athleticism won't be an issue. Learning a new position will take time. Him playing any LB position will be new considering he was primarily a DE throughout high school. He seems to be a bright kid that works hard so that only helps his chances of succeeding. IMO his best position in our defense would be CAT but we r going to have depth issues at ILB and he might have to spend 1-2 years filling that spot. Size won't be an issue. 6'2 is plenty tall for an ILB. He's also got good length for being that tall.

It was a valid question, the staff likes taller LB's in general. Grace and Anzalone who we really wanted at ILB were 6'3 or taller. I just don't think it will be an issue with Holine should he commit and be put there.

Soon Irish will be playing more ACC teams, where quickness will be critical. Won't need the bruisers like in the Big 10. Hope our chances are real, he would be a nice surprise get.

Kelly may go down for an in-home as early as Tuesday, per BGI. Looking to strike fast and close on him, it looks like.

Definitely seems like we are going to try and get him on board at the beginning of this week. To set things up for Eddie on Thursday.
