You mean the staff whose head coach had just recently interviewed with the Chicago Bears? A job that is still open. That staff?

I don't care that it's ND that he left. I'm not basing this on his jilting ND. I'm basing this on him jilting OSU then not committing else until he was "100% certain", committing to ND, almost flipping to UF during the LSU game visit, then re-affirming his commitment to ND, then bouncing the moment the BK news broke. And it's not even like BK was reported to take the job at the moment. This was well before ESPN got antsy with the story and started reporting anything and everything. Every single other recruit who went public declared their loyalty to the school, regardless of the BK outcome. 5 were even willing to EE regardless of an outcome. You can't tell me that AA is not unique here. Given that, I DON'T TRUST HIM FOR HIS WORD.

I don't doubt for a second that this BK situation was probably not handled the best way possible, but if this kid skips town at the first sign of adverse conditions, then maybe this isn't the best place for him to play. I'm not saying we don't need his talent, but sure as hell don't need his drama.

^This. Perhaps the BK situation could have been handled better but how? He interviewed for a NFL job...there's no delicate way to put that and there's no way to bury that.

I don't hate AA either or "blame him." He did what he thought best and quite frankly what seemed obvious to some people that he was going to do all along. He just wanted to be a Florida Gator and there is no shame in that. Did the BK interview have something to do with his leaving? Perhaps to some extent but the fact that no one else bolted and he did just shows that he was never as committed to being at ND as the others. Again, I'm not mad at him...he's 18, lord knows I was indecisive at 18. He wanted out and found a good reason to leave the program but in the end we all got what we wanted. BK and his staff will be happy (which in my mind a happy BK & Co. >>>>>>>>>>>AA) we got our coach back, and AA got to go to Florida.

Winter break over. Back to juggling work and class together now.

Glad Brian Kelly is back as head coach.

Was in a room full of people on Saturday and yelled out in joy really loud when I got the updaete on my phone that BK was staying. People looked at me like I was nuts.

Now that BK situation is taken care of in the short term. I can happily get back to listening to people's fantasy's that we are going to get both Hollins, and Prevot as well as Eddie Vanderdoes (I actually think ND does get him).

I don't believe that we're suckers for believing him. He tells us what he's feeling. But all relationships need to be honest and both sides need to be all in. We have to hold up our end. We have to make our brilliant Coach's job as easy as WE can.

Report on LA radio, that Pat Haden just fired Lane Kiffin. Whether it is true or not we don't know, but stations are reporting it.

Its okay not the first time someone had a missed report on Kiffin. Someone actually edited Kiffin's wikipedia page saying he was fired after the ND game. I thought that was pretty funny.

I think Brian Kelly should be added to the committ list for 2013. If Diaco got up there so should Kelly.
