This is a huge relief. While I never felt he would leave, the uncertainty was scary. The thought of having to start over after how far this program has come over the past 3 years. Props to BK for doing "the right thing" and finishing what he started. I hope he was able to earn his assistants some cheddar while also getting some other concessions that will help this program take the next big step. Is AQM on NSD too much to ask for? lol

Since its a private institution you will not get much in way of details. I expect something like "BK gets a hefty raise as do assistants."

Despite whats been said, and Kelly said it himself in his statement that he decided to return to ND, this was more than leverage.

Yeah, I don't believe we will ever really know what the details truly are. Over time we might see for ourselves (ie. AQM-like recruits) but I doubt there will be a press release on the deal other than the money and the term. Nailing down this class is priorty #1. Now I'll go apologize to my wife and kids for being grouchy.
