Notre Dame called Eddie from the National Championship game tonight.

Going to be a much harder pull after that performances. All things considered he might end up at 'Bama. Got to hope he likes the prospect of early PT here.

Especially with drunk ND idiots tweeting him that he should stop considering ND because he mistakenly tweeted "there" instead of "their". I hate, hate, hate kids that say stupid **** to our recruits.

I don't think this game has an influence on where he goes to school. It will come down to how his visits go and where he feels the most comfortable at.

I disagree. I think he was ours to lose before the game. Had it been at least close, that'd still be the case, but after tonight, I think the game is a bit more open.

At least they can pitch how much they need him up front to build depth and the talent pool in order to play with teams in the SEC.

What makes it even more stupid is that the tweet the guy was replying to was one in which Eddie stated he hoped ND would make a comeback in the 2nd half.

I'm with you. While last night's game clearly didn't help things in EV's recruitment (unless he saw it as an opportunity to make an immediate impact), I don't think it hurt either. I think this comes down to comfort level during his visits. I also think whichever coach called him during the NCG is absolutely clutch, like Diaco showing up at Ishaq's house at 4 am clutch.

If we land EV, I hope we get Terrodney too. Last night Alabama's speed at LB was very noticeable, and Terrodney is very athletic. We're as close as we've been in 20 years, and guys like these can get us to the top.

This team is 12-1 and lost the National championship to a dynasty. This is a very bright hour, relative to our recent history
