I think Allgator's argument against this is that the regular season matters more than a bowl game that isn't the national championship.

I would be furious if we lost to a major underdog in any bowl game or regular season game. Neither would be acceptable to me.

The program is about SEC championships and National Championships. The most important part about going to a bowl game is not even the actual bowl game but the extra practices for the younger players.

So basically Florida has played less than 10 meaningful seasons in their entire existence, and only 3 can be considered a success. I would want to drink Drano too if that was my outlook.
