To be fair, it is a stupid argument. And I think it has been proven as a fact that 95% of scUM fans are huge dbags, so just don't read their sites! They hate ND, and like everyone else that hates ND, they talk a lot of crap about them - Just ignore it. Though I have to admit, it's pretty funny how bad they say ND is, even though it took a miracle for them to beat us.

That's how most of them are man. Trust me, I live in Michigan and come into contact with those buttholes all the time. They're just as delusional and twice as douchey as we are.

I just love how they talk about ND's "mediocrity" when they haven't won even a share of their easy conference in 7+ years. Couldn't even win their half of a division this year... and that's the only thing that will get them in a BCS game... against freaking Houston because they are just that lucky.

Oh yeah and they ducked us on the lacrosse schedule this year because they knew we would kick the **** out of them and it would hurt them in recruiting the midwest. Pure cowardice.

A lot of my hate is because of the way they beat us, but after taking a step back, a lot of it is jealousy. I have no idea how a team can get so freaking lucky over and over. And now they have a coach who will take them to a likely BCS bowl win (Houston blows), and they'll probably be in the top 15 preseason next year. I can only hope ND puts a stop to this horrible streak next year.

I was pretty much just talking about the ND 4th quarter and their BCS bowl against Houston. It's obvious they've become a better team. But I still think ND is better.

I don't think this season was a fluke.

I do. They only played 2 ranked teams, and lost to one. They also lost to a bad Iowa team at home. They played 8 home games. The Big Ten had a down year... and even then they didn't have to play Wisconsin or Penn State. Now they are going to luck into a BCS game only because they couldn't win their weak half of a weak conference. How crazy is that?

Simply put if they had to play a Big 12 or SEC East schedule without twice as many home games as away games they would get tooled. They would also get tooled by Oregon, Stanford, USC, Alabama, LSU, etc. in a BCS game... but instead they will get to play Houston. I do not expect 10-2 again next year when they lose Martin, Van Bergen, and some other guys.

I should clarify to state that I think Michigan is a much improved and very good overall football team that deserves its ranking around ~#15. They're also much smarter than Notre Dame because they joined a conference and schedule smart.

ND needs to make a move to the ACC sooner rather than later and stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

This year's michigan team is the equivalent of Charlie Weis's first year at ND... IMO of course

lol except they get Houston and we got O$U in a BCS. But who knows, maybe we'll get a late Xmas present and Keenum will light them up for about 500 and 4 TD's...how great would that be! Talk about potential shoot out!

Keenum will pick them apart like the left overs of Thanksgiving. If OSU had even a mildly experienced QB that game would have been a loss.

Keep in mind that the Sugar gets first pick.

BCS Champ LSU vs Bama
Rose MSU/Wisky vs Oregon
Sugar Michigan vs Houston
Fiesta OSU vs Stanford
Orange VTech vs BE Champ

I think thats the way it shakes out, of course with the way it stands now. Frankly I think conference championship games shouldn't count in BCS standings. You bust your *** all year only to play a team you beat before, but possibly lose on a freak show of miscues and get punished for it.

Houston's defense has no prayer of stopping Denard. They win this game.

Michigan has inflated D numbers because they play in the crappy Big 10. They allowed 34 to one of the worst Offenses in the country in OSU. They allowed 235 passing yds to Braxton Miller who Before the Michigan game had a career high of 132 pass yds. Case Keenum will shred this D

I would expect the score of a Michigan-Houston game to resemble that of a basketball game.

An NBA basketball game.

That went into four overtimes.

There is simply no way these defenses can stop one another. First one to not score a touchdown gets the loss.

And yet we have to eat it because for 3 straight years they have beaten us and they now look poised to run right passed us.
