When current TE commit Mike Heuerman heard we had offered McNeil, he selflessly tried to help recruit him. I don't remember his exact response, but McNeil was a jerk to him.

Because of the 25 commit rule LSU & Bama wont sign the non qualifiers anymore. In years past they would just sign the kid knowing he would not get in and place him in JUCO. Now they just say no and take him in a year or two out of JUCO.

He tweeted something along the lines of "ND ALREADY GOT A TE BUT THEY RECRUITING ME HARD GUESS I KNOW WHO THEY REALLY WANT" to which Heurman was all class and responded with something allong the lines of "plenty room for both! Join the mob!"

He's getting his just deserts now. No one should pitty him. Definite WKG.

LSU Bama Ole Miss Miss state.... used to sign these huge classes of kids they knew would not get into school. They would place them then picked them back up in 2 years. It made the actual number look way worse than they were. Now they just take them in two years. The rule didn't change anything but perception.
