Bleacher report warning. Not that I disagree with the fact that we lead.

Full Odds:

Washington 25/1
USC 18/1
Oregon 7/1
ND 8/5

I think the fact that the writer places such precise odds in the first place is a good enough warning of the quality of the source.

To illustrate by a more extreme case: If someone claimed that a recruit had a 71.3807% chance of committing, you'd think he's either joking or doesn't know what he's talking about.

I haven't watched the video but I will say that he was making fun of Vegas all day for the Heisman odds and hypothetical lines [apparently there are lines for ND vs everyone in the SEC (we are dogs to A&M in case you were wondering)]. It's very possible he is joking with the odds.

Highly recommend him as a Twitter follow, btw. CraigKrenzel told me about him and I have been laughing ever since.

Came for dinner + basketball game... really want us to lock this one down. Could be a serious impact player here.

Just imagine if we get this kid. We'd be potentially looking at Redfield and Shumate at the safety positions for years to come with Tuitt, Nix, Jaylon Smith, Anzalone Shembo, Spond etc.......Our defence could maybe even be.....i hate to say it.........BETTER THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW!!!!!

BK and Denbrock visited Redfield's parents. He had a basketball game that limited them from contacting him until after the game, but BK decided against returning to the home to visit with Max. Christian feels it was a strategic move on Kelly's part to not visit with Max, even though the visit will still count as his in home. Parents were very impressed and feel very comfortable with Kelly. Christian also feels very, very confident in Notre Dame's chances in landing Redfield when the time comes.

I share your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that Tuitt, Nix, Shembo, and Spond will all be gone after next year (possibly Nix/Shembo before), so unless we have a ton of freshmen starting on D next year, the above group won't be playing together for any significant amount of time. Still a ton of reasons for optimism though.

Good ole BK, always winning hearts and minds of the parents. Smart recruiting.

Man, I am thinking he got really good vibes from the parents to not stay and meet with Max at the home. Perhaps Max let his parents know that if they were good with ND, then he was, and the Coaches did not want to press the matter. Guess we will all know soon enough.

I'm not up to par with years of eligibility, but are we saying Tuitt, Nix, Shembo and Spond have 0 years of eligibility after next year, or is it we're assuming their going to the NFL. If it's them leaving for the NFL early, I'd have to disagree, because who really knows, I doubt many of us or anyone believed Teo would be back this year, but he was. IMO, it's hard to pass up getting a degree from ND, especially with the fact that your NFL career could be over in one play.

But again, if their leaving because they don't have any more years of eligibility, it's a moot point, but if they do, I wouldn't expect all of them to bail to the NFL.

Tuitt and Nix are not gone for sure next year. They would both have another year of eligiblity after that.
