There was a still photo on Sunday which showed Kelly several steps onto the field, face to face with Carlo as he walked off. Kelly's mouth was open wide and face was bright red. Now he may have simply been asking Carlo about his post game party plans but it sure didn't look cordial.
Even so, it clearly didn't last long, b/c just a few moments after the play was over, he was having that relatively quiet conversation w/ him I was talking about.
Again, after a penalty like that, who
wouldn't yell, at least for a few seconds, at the player?
Oh wait, I know the answer to that one: Tyrone Willingham.
Anyway, so long as it's not too extended, and obviously he never puts his hands on the kid, I have no problem w/ his reaction. Seriously, other than the USF game, I don't think of BK as an over-the-top coach. He gets animated, no doubt. More so than some other coaches. But it's not out of the normal range, I guess is what I'm saying. Within 2 standard deviations from the mean, for those ever forced to take a statistics class.
