Awesome video...LOVE IT!!!

I liked Lou calling out May at the 3:23 mark "You've never been a coach...you've never done anything except carry a coach off the field after he won with you sittin on the bench".

I know exactly what you mean.. I've scoured YouTube looking for hater video and it's tough to find. Great job on the theme though and the music was fitting.

How much school/professional experience do you have?

I have a BA in Electronic Media & Broadcasting, but I learned all of my editing on my own. I've been doing it for about 12 years now, and after finding out that no one wants to hire someone without a degree, I had to bite the bullet.

I have a similar background.. Got my BA in Liberal Arts and went to broadcasting school but taught myself how to edit, since all they did was introduce us to the most basic version of Avid and how to splice ha. I've been editing for about 5 years now and worked professionally at MTV/Viacom for about 2.

It's not neccesarily true that you can't get hired without a degree. In your case, it might be where you are looking for a job. Have you tried L.A. or NYC? Is that even an option? I started as a tape loader in NYC, taught myself Avid & FCP, hustled for an Assistant Editor job and moved on from there.

It's really more about your reel than your degree. I guarantee you could get an AE job in NYC or LA with 12 years of experience.. Especially if you are fluent in Avid and/or FCP.

I prefer to stay in sports. I just finished a contract with the TB Rays system, as well as a contract year with the Buccaneers. I know it doesn't pay well and the hours are insane (80+ week during the season), but that's the sacrifice to be a part of something. There is no greater feeling than seeing 65,000+ eyes on your work in one place. It's not necessarily that I can't find a job. It's more of the fact that I got stuck in the middle of football season when baseball ended... all of the jobs were gone and the basketball gigs had already been filled. I have no worries. I've only been out of work for about a month with interviews scheduled next week. I just have to bring my A-game.

Can we wrap this video up, put a bow on it, and send it to ESPN?

Welcome to IE man. It's a great board. Joined here last year after my life was in shambles following scUM loss.

Dude this video rocks. I watched it again. I want every ESPN analyst to watch this. Let's ship this baby to Mike & Mike.

Great video. I can only imagine how much the team is going to love this. Was a little worried about a let down this weekend but if they watch this video during the week there is no chance of that happening. Embrace the hate fellas, ND is coming!

Bump because it's awesome.

This just got bumped a few minutes ago (Thanks, Mgriff!), but I want to thank everyone here for the replies. Because of you guys and this board, the video got 6,000+ views in one day and made it into the Golic household! Should we win this Saturday, expect another video on Monday for the entire season. Thanks again!

Happy Thanksgiving! GO IRISH!
