Yes, the combination of Ishaq and Prince could be a force the next 3 games! Do you guys realize Shembo has 10 TFL, 7 Sacks, and 11 QB hurries this year?! Hope he stays for his Sr year!

Ishaq is becoming much more decisive this year and finishing plays. It almost looks effortless meaning easy for him at times. Off season weight training will be huge for the type of year he ends up having in 13'. Looking for him to explode onto the national scene!

Can you imagine, Tuitt, Ishaq, and "Where's my bike seat" Shembo gunning for QBs next year at the same time??? Crazy!!!!!

I too think he would have went all the way if that "incomplete pass" had been called correctly as a fumble and no whistle blew!!!

And Irish Chocolate.

Next year we should have an even more dominate D line. Going to be fun.

I think you are all focusing to much on his pass rush and missing the big picture. The kid can cover in space!

Thanks for sharing. Very sad story. I can't even imagine discovering something like that.

(on an unimportant side note, I never knew we didn't recruit public schools in the city before BK)

What a tragedy to have to overcome. He always seemed like a pretty quiet guy but I would have never known it was because of that. At some point Ishaq is gonna find the strength inside of him to match his outside armor. When he does look out because there is a star behind that number 11 on his jersey! Hope he hits the nation by storm tomorrow night! More importantly I hope that this tragedy instills a motivation in him to overcome any adversity that he faces the rest of his life. What a courageous young man.

Awesome strength Ishaq has going thru this tragedy. He is right on him not being alone and his brother being there with him. I had also lost my lil brother in a shooting which was really hard to deal with. I know he is still here watching over us. I hope Ishaq has a great game tomorrow. Go Irish!!

3rd down and >5

I hate when we have him out in coverage on third and medium to long though. It's extremely frustrating to see a player who is not comfortable in space out there trying to cover when he would be best suited to be getting after the QB.

How do we get this guy on the field more?

2013 will be his year. When he does make plays I always think to myself "why the heck isn't he playing more?" But I guess I'm at home on the couch for a reason and the coaches have their reasons. I think they will be forced to play him more next year. Would like to see him on the end spot in 3rd down situations more.

I agree, he seems much more comfortable when he's attacking.

Paul Longo gonna have to work some wonders to make Ishaq a 3-4 DE. Needs at least 20 lbs probably 30 lbs. Without steriods that kind of weight gain is not possible.

Schwenke put on 60 pounds from the time he got on campus through the end of his freshman season, didn't he? Probably wasn't the best weight to pack on but 20-25 pounds in 9 months isn't impossible now a days.
