Wow. Did these guys do you something?

Where is this coming from, DillonHall? Do you think TJ and JJ have been slacking?

We won, and our players are still talking about how we need to do better next week against the worst team on our schedule. That should be praised.

It's not directed at these guys. I'm just saying that words mean very little. I don't really understand the need to tweet something like this; just go do it.

TJ, Jarron, and anyone else can say/tweet whatever they want but actions speak louder than words.

But it's a road game so I'm sure we'll be fine

Certainly seems to be directed at them. They're 9-0, I think they know something about "just going and doing it".

Uhhh...you clearly neglected to ignore the 'and anyone else' part of what I wrote. I obviously don't have a problem with TJ or JJ in particular.

I don't get what the big deal is.

A few tweets from players about refocusing the effort shouldn't be a big deal either.

Why does anyone post anything on twitter or facebook?

I'm not criticizing. Just sayin'.

By TJ's overall play this season, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Looking for "necessity" in the tweets of teen-aged football players doesn't make much sense. They tweet about trivial stuff all the time; anything regarding football ranks high on the Twitter scale of relevance.

But this type of focus is admirable given our next opponent-- BC is a dumpster fire. I'd bet you don't see many 'Bama players tweeting about the need to stay focused and work hard in preparation for Florida Atlantic.

I give props to TJ and JJ for their tweets. It's a Sunday, and this kind of stuff helps set a tone for the whole team on an off day (obviously more so TJ since he's an experienced starter). If their tweets are any indication, this team will be focused and revved up to lay a beatdown on BC. Yesterday's ND/Pitt game might be the worst thing to happen to BC in a long time.

That's my exact point. Alabama has a winning attitude and they go about their business every day in a very professional (I see the pun) manner. They don't need to tweet about being focused because they already are; it's built into their mentality. They prepare well then they go beat inferior opponents by enormous margins.

BTW I'm very sorry that this is in TJ's profile. He's one of my favorite players and a fellow Dillon guy.

It's not worth arguing in my opinion, the most productive point of this whole exchange is that some people either don't have, or don't feel they need to use any tact, when examining the actions of other people (even their self proclaimed friends) when they are in an anonymous setting. Good for you.

who cares? if you are going to get your panties in a bunch over what the players tweet, don't read twitter or IE. unbelievable that people think players need to less talking and more action because of a tweet.

Not sure if anyone noticed this but ESPN has a big story on Tuitt on the front page. But, they used the wrong #7. They've got a big picture of T.J. Wow...

Wow, Mark Schlabach is just an awful interviewer. Like he couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Super excited for that way he played last night. He was doing what ever he could to get open. And made some really outstanding catches. Look forward to him in the 13 season.

He has hands of glue. What he does best though is how he comes back to the football especially on undersigned plays.

I'm so bummed for T.J, but so proud of the way he played. What a warrior.

With his father's passing last summer, T.J. wanted this NC more than anybody. He has said how much it would mean to him to be able to help bring an NC to ND, just like his father did in '88.

And he played his A$$ off to make it happen. Supreme effort and concentration from him. Probably the best game of his life.

That it wasn't enough ... ugh. My heart just breaks for him.

His father had a front row seat to tj's performance and his effor. Tj did every thing asked of him and more. He put a huge smile on his dads face up above. Everyone is proud of of you TJ keep up the hard work.

Top 5 WRs for the 2014 draft

4. TJ Jones, Notre Dame -- Jones will be Notre Dame's best offensive player this year and should get a lot of chances to make plays while showing he could be a No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL.

Love me some TJ, but there's no way he's one of the first 5 WRs off the board in 2014. And where's Marquise Lee on this list?

I for one am glad for this recognition for TJ! He deserves it. And I hope he meets with this kind of success and humbles a lot of critics.
