He'd be our 4th highest rated recruit, behind Smith, Anzalone and Rochell, and just barely ahead of Bivin.

I have full faith in this staff. Just hope we don't end up regretting it later.

I did a double-take reading this; I'd been looking at the 247 rankings instead of composite. Wonder why 247 has him so much lower than other services. If you go by Rivals he is definitely in the take-now category.

Sapp and Wiltfong confirm that we still want him bad. The staff thinks he is a perfect fit.

Booker is doing work. Robinson has received more school visits from Booker than any other coach.

What, for his 4th year? Yes, I think he'll stay. I can't imagine him leaving after 3 years to sit out a year and then play 1 year at a MAC school and get a degree from there.

I was thinking more along the lines of going back to qb as a scout team guy.

^ Same as you, across the board there.

Fellas, the staff may also not see Corey Robinson as a long term WR, but rather as a TE after a year or 2. So say, ultimately, that Fuller is a DB and C. Robinson is a TE, then Onwualu and Hunter are really the only 2 WR's for this class.

Believe it or not, depending on whether or not Folston commits to us, Onwualu could start off at RB. He's dominated the HS level as a RB, and I remember that George Atkinson III was recruited to play WR here too, but ultimately ended up at RB.

So, if you take that into consideration, we really could only have 1 WR in this class depending on how things end up.

No. Doesn't have anywhere close to the body type to be a rb. Not even close to George's size. Will not happen IMO

This is me personally thinking that Fuller will be moved to the defensive side. I have absolutely no clue on the thought process of the coaching staff and no information whatsoever to go off of.

Its easy, Corey Robinson could grow into a TE, Onwualu could play RB, and Fuller could be a corner. Hunter is the only true WR in the class and even he could play DB.

? He is a bigger kid than George. GA3 is a rail; he's built like a sprinter. Onwuala is already as big as GA3 and will only get bigger.

I respect the opinion of those who think Corey grows into a te, but I think there are better chances of Eifert shrinking into a bunny rabbit. Corey will be fun to watch catch balls over five foot nothing cb's in the red zone.

I really hope this weekend goes well for DeMarcus! He is without a doubt a tremendous talent and would love to have him! I like that he's from around the area I live at too! I have only seen tv highlights on him but they have been good! I think the Backhander may have seen him play though!

Since he's from around your area, do you mind stopping by his house and putting in a good word?

We are going to take Robinson if he wants to come, IMO, because big WR cause match-up problems that smaller one's don't unless the smaller one is super fast. That would leave a sport for AM and another for a DB.

We need depth, and so it is good that we are getting too many WRs this year. As many have mentioned, Kelly intentionally recruits athletes so he can shuffle them around. On that thought, why doesn't anyone ever mention Onuwalu at safety? He seems as much of a safety as Fuller seems a CB.

The depth chart at safety is pretty crowded. Even with Slaughter, Motta, McCarthy and Salvi gone after this year, we'll have Farley, Collinsworth, Hardy, Shumate, Baratti, Badger, Prosise, Turner, plus we look like we're in good shape for Redfield.

On the other hand we just have TJ, DvD, Daniel Smith, Brown and Ferguson coming back at outside WR (and Massa, but I'm not convinced he'll push for playing time). No need to move any of our incoming outside WRs.

Not sure if Fuller will play outside WR or slot, but I think it's slot. That's actually a position of need ... only Neal and Hunter at that spot next year. On the other hand we'll have 8 CBs on next year's roster. I'm not convinced we'll need to move Fuller either.

Is it possible that Fuller could even play RB in a role similar to Theo?

tori hunter jr was told this was how he was going to be used....according to an espn interview of him

In terms of moving him all over the field looking for mismatches. I don't see him lining up in the backfield.

I see Fuller moving to CB if we were to land Robinson or Treadwell. Wouldn't have a problem with it. Adding three corners for depth and a possible elite DB would be great.

His mother and uncle will be on visit according to TV. Also he is planning to EE, not sure if that has been mentioned.

Pretty sad that I don't want us to land this kid this weekend. Guess that's what happens when you have a sick recruiting class with STUDS left on the board

Something tells me he pops after his visit. IF he is bringing his Mom and uncle they are not going just for a free trip.
